Update: July 30, 2008
Summary: The more SC used for each feature (Featured Ads, Upgrade Membership, Prioritize Ads, Exposed Ads) the cheaper the cost of those features. The opposite otherwise.

This new feature is already operational. Change of SC cost is every midnight

Please be advised that a new feature will be implemented soon that will allow our system to automatically change the SC Costs of features on a daily basis.
With the new automated feature, the system will compare the total number of SC used for a certain feature yesterday to the total 2 days ago to come up with the new cost for today. If the total cost yesterday is higher compared to the total 2 days ago, the system will automatically decrease the sc cost of that feature today. The opposite will happen otherwise.
This will be an experimental feature and the rules of increasing and decreasing the SC cost might change in the future.
This feature is implemented so that the SC costs of features will depend on the demand for that feature (controlled by members) and not on our decision.
Addendum
For economist purists, you will notice that this setup is against the law of supply and demand. Considering that the supply (pageviews) is constant (vertical supply curve), the increase in demand should mean an increase in price. Yet in our case, the supply must be used up daily and we have to reach the following goals: (1) more page views per SC; and (2) more SC used daily.
If you have suggestions and comments and alternative setup with complete explanation, please post here as it can help us tweak the system.

tanong lang po, ang determinant nang pagtaas/pagbaba ng price of feature will depend sa pagtaas/pagbaba ng past price?

The past price and the demand (which is equal to total SC cost used).

mukhang mas effective nga ang feature pag ganun..kailangan may law of supply and demand din.. wag lang sana kasing haba ng pila sa NFA rice ang pilahan sa feature.. heheh..

dahil sa dami mag pa featured ng kanilang ads
halos di na "feature" ang mga kani kanilang ads.
If 100 ads ang nag pa feature for this day
chances are once in every 100 featured ads
lang ang chance mo na ma view ito...
right po ba admin?
so it is right po na ma reduce ang SC price
kung marami ang na pa feature..

admin with the new system of rules.. magkakaroon ba ng floor at ceiling of Sc.. like for example ang floor is 100 sc ang cost niya or the ceoiling will be up to 1000 sc lang..
