 Post subject: Introducing Document Uploads in Advertisements |

We are happy to announce that you can now upload documents when creating your advertisements. All uploaded documents will be automatically converted to Scribd iPaper format and then embedded in the advertisement page. Viewers can instantly view the content of the uploaded document through the advertisement page.
What does this mean? It means that if you have brochures, price lists or other information in document format, there is no need to transfer the content. You can now upload the document directly when posting your advertisement.

Allowed Documents to Upload:
- Ms Word (*.doc, *.docx)
- MS PowerPoint (*.ppt, *.pps, *.pptx)

- PDF (*.pdf, *.ps)
- Open Office Docs
- Text File

maganda yan para makapag isip ng maayos kung ano ang i feature sa mga ads, no hassle of writting in the Ads or making it better...

It is as easy as uploading images. When creating/updating your advertisement, there are upload fields specifically for your documents. Just click the button browse and select the document from your computer and then submit your advertisement. Everything will be taken care of automatically by the system (from submitting your document to scribd, getting the embed code and appending the embed code to your advertisement description).

We are depending on Scribd for the types of docs accepted. Also, it is the trend that standard and commonly used formats are the ones being supported by 3rd-party services like Scribd. Publisher has a proprietary format and not commonly used so I won't expect it to be supported soon.
I highly recommend using standard and commonly used formats for your documents to make it universally supported anywhere.
