Update March 19, 2009
This feature is now fully implemented. Members using custom pages can now add their Activity Streams in their custom pages.

Update March 13, 2009
We are slowly implementing the display of the Activity Stream to member homepage and other related pages. I will post a final announcement here later if we have completed the implementation of the Activity Stream. As of now, it is already available in the DEFAULT Member Homepage. Content for customized Member pages to follow.

Please be advised that we currently rolled out a new beta feature that captures the activities of members here in the website.
For this beta release, the following activities are being captured by the system:- Post a new advertisement
- Update an advertisement
- Repost an advertisement
- Bookmark an advertisement
- Post a message to an advertisement
- Post / Receive a feedback
- Send / Receive a private message (sender decides if action is to be included in the activity stream)
- Add to My Buddies
- Send / Receive SC
More activities might be captured in the future.
As of now, these activities are just being captured by the system. In the future updates, Activity Streams will be displayed in member home pages and member dashboard (can also include activity streams of members in My Buddies). Activity Feeds will also be available so that you can display or integrate them in other websites or applications.
The activity streams are intended to increase the discovery of ads, members and other features in the system. Its main goal is to expose your advertisements and to expose your member homepage. More exposure means more traffic which then means more potential clients and sales
It is also possible in the future that these activity streams to be shared in social networking sites like Facebook (currently the standards for activity streams are being worked on by industry experts).

Yup, that is the idea. This is similar to what major social networking sites have which helps discovery of items/activities in those sites.

wow okay so mas mabilis malaman ng nga buddies namin kung my updates kami ginawa sa ads namin....

pwede ho ba wag nang include ang send/receive PMs of buddies; I think that might defeat the purpose of private messages.
suggestion lang po.
Pwede ho bang makahingi ng SC?

wouldn't it be more private if only the parties concerned knew an exchange of PMs took place?
