 Post subject: Introducing New Feature: Shortened URLs |

We are officially introducing a new feature in Sulit.com.ph called Shortened URLs. Long URLs make it difficult to send the URL to other people through e-mail, chat or even through text. Therefore, we made it easier for you to send the address of Sulit.com.ph's pages by providing shortened versions of the URLs. We have implemented 2 types of shortened URLs.
For Advertisement Pages
For advertisement pages, the URL is dependent to the title of the advertisement and the longer the title, the longer the URL.
Consider this sample page:
http://www.sulit.com.ph/index.php/view+classifieds/id/343934/This+is+a+sample+advertisement+implementing+HTML+Embed+Codes
With the new feature, the same page can now be visited through this url:
http://sulit.com.ph/343934
The shortened URL is basically the Advertisement ID appended with the domain at the start. The format is something like this:
| Code: | | http://sulit.com.ph/<Advertisement ID here> |
So if the advertisement ID is 343934 then you can visit the page through http://sulit.com.ph/343934 . As easy as that. If you know the advertisement ID of your advertisement, you can easily give or send the URL to others.
For Search Result Pages
You can easily search Sulit.com.ph by specific items using the following URL format:
| Code: | | http://sulit.com.ph/<search keywords here> |
So if you are looking for "iphone" you can use this URL to display all iPhones posted in Sulit.com.ph: http://sulit.com.ph/iphone
