Hello mga Sulitizens. I am just concern about a modus operandi that I group I believe are sindicates operating not only in Laguna but also other parts of Luzon with the following scams:
1. They will go house to house introducing themselves as Mekeni Food Corporation agents using fake ID and probably bogus names;
2. They will offer a dealership packages to you as an exclusive dealer of Mekeni products;
3. These packages/benefits are:
Free freezers
Free foodcarts
Consignment Schemes
Rebate Schemes
Discounts Schemes and etc.
4. They will also ask that you sign and fill-up their application form and will also ask for billing statements and IDs as their company requirements for the dealership packages.
5. You will then be asked to choose from various Dealership Pakages with different rates ranging from Php 2,500 to Php 12,500.
6. An "initial stock" will be given to you as you give the payments for the chosen package and will promise that they will return within 2 to 3 days for the freezer, if you give them the deposit or full-payment of the chose package.
7. A receipt, pricelist and mobile number will be given to you.
8. After they leave, you will notice that the stocks you receive is not worth what you pay for and you will not be able to contact them on the number they gave you.

Please dessiminate this information. Baka ma-victimized din po mga relative ninyo. Madami po naloko na dito sa Laguna.

If these people happen to visit your place, instantly get in touch with your Barangay Tanod or local police. Sigurado may mga naloko sila sa area ninyo. Naka-blotter na po ito at you may get in touch with CIDG kasi they are handling this case.

thanks for the head up sir...sana may kung gusto mo makipagtransaksyon sa ganyan e dapat picturan mo muna sila bago ka pumayag at least kahit pano secured ka kasi paano kung may mga legit...tapos pag scam e di ipublish na sa mga mrt at lrt stations as philippines most wanted...

parang ganyan din nangyari sa wife ko... although walang promise na freezer.. kasi may freezer na kami and my wife is selling ICE as sideline while at home... she was approach by an agent din and was asked P500 for the initial inventory. sari-sari -- may hotdog, tocino, etc.... the agent said that he/she will visit weekly for additional orders if any... no one came after that... panu kung nasira ang stocks na hindi nabili?? ang ginawa namin kinain na lang namin lahat.... hehe...

if you really want to sell cold cuts like this, go to an outlet you know and buy from there (maxima or cdo).. at least you know where to bring the food just in case may problema... thats what i told my wife...
