• How does the Sulit.com.ph work?
  Members of Sulit.com.ph are classified into 2 major types. One who posts advertisements called Advertiser and the other who views posted advertisements whom we will call as Client. You can either be an Advertiser or a Client or both.
  
  The following explains how the Sulit Community works:

  • Register for a FREE member account (Advertiser / Client)
  • Select an appropriate category (Advertiser)
  • Post an advertisement (Advertiser)
  • Browse for advertisements (Client)
  • Discuss advertisement details (Advertiser / Client)
  • Complete transactions (Advertiser / Client)
  • Leave member feedback (Advertiser / Client)

  
  Register for a FREE member account (Advertiser / Client)
  
  

  1. To be able to completely utilize all the features provided by Sulit.com.ph, you must first register for a member account, which is fast and FREE.  Click the Register link located at the upper right side of the page.
  2. Fill up the Email Address form. Specify a working e-mail address because your e-mail verification link will be sent through e-mail. Then, click Register button.
  3. Check your e-mail address for your activation e-mail.  Click the verification link included in the e-mail.
  4. Complete the member registration form with your member details.  Username is the member ID you will use to access your member page.  Complete Name will be displayed  in your profile and in your posted advertisements. 
  5. After completing the form, click the Register button to submit the form.
  6. You can now use the Username and Password you specified in the registration form to login.

  
  There's another way that you can use to register an account, this is using the OpenId option.
  
  

  1. Choose from any of our 3rd Party Account providers.
     
     
     
  2. Let us assume that you have chosen to use Google to register an account. Once you click on the google link from our provider's list, the resulting page will be similar to this one (differs for every provider):
     
     
     
  3. All you have to do from here is login to your Gmail account (or to your account in the selected provider).
  4. After logging in to your Gmail account, you will be shown this page (differs for every provider):
     
     
     
  5. Click the Allow button to proceed with the next step.
  6. You will then be asked to complete your registration on the next page.
     
     
     
  7. After filling out the form, click the Register button and you are done.
  8. Now you have registered your Sulit Account and integrated it with your Gmail Account.
  9. The procedure is pretty much the same with other providers.

  
  Select an appropriate category (Advertiser)
  
  

  1. Click Post A Free Ad link at the top menu or Post Classified Ads link under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
  2. Select and expand a main category tree to show the corresponding subcategories.
  3. Expand subcategories as required and then select the innermost and appropriate category for your advertisement.

   

  Post an advertisement (Advertiser)
  
  

  1. Specify a meaningful Advertisement Title.
  2. You have already chosen your Main Category.
  3. Select the appropriate Category.
  4. Select the appropriate Classification.
  5. Select an Expiration duration for your advertisement.
  6. Specify Keywords (Tags) that are highly-related to your advertisement making your item searchable using those keywords.
  7. Specify other Advertisement Details specific to the category selected.
  8. Use the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor to input more details about your advertisement.
  9. You can specify Location, Selling Price, Condition and Warranty.
  10. You can select an Auto-Extend on Expiration option to automatically repost your ads when it expires.
  11. The Optional Custom Fields / Data section allows you to indicate special fields specific to your product and/or item.
  12. You can upload unlimited images which will be displayed when browsing the advertisement lists.
  13. You can upload unlimited documents (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, PDF, Open Office Docs, Text).
  14. You can also add a live Satellite Map for the location related to your advertisement.
  15. Submit your advertisement by clicking the Submit and Publish button.

   

  Browse for advertisements (Client)
  
  

  1. Select a Main Category under the Categories Dropdown Menu at the upper top left of the page.
  2. Select subcategories displayed at the left column of the pages to filter ads further by category.
  3. Browse through the list of advertisements.
  4. Filter the ads displayed based on your preferred filter setting using the Display More Filters button.
  5. As an alternative, you can also use the search feature located at the top of the page to search for advertisements or if you know the Advertisement ID, you can also use the search advertisement ID section located at the upper top left of the page.

   

  Discuss advertisement details (Advertiser / Client)
  
  

  1. Discussing details about any advertisement is done by posting messages within the advertisement page.  Click Post a message button located in the Item Discussion section (bottom part) of the advertisement page.
  2. Use the WYSIWYG editor to compose your message. You may also enter your contact details in Contact Details (private field in ads message reply that is only visible to advertisement owner to protect the privacy of members) if you do not want to display it in public. Post your message by clicking the Post button.
  3. As an alternative, you can also Send A Private Message (for offline/unregistered users) or Inquire Through PM to any member to discuss details of the advertisement.  You can send a Private Message by clicking the Inquire through PM button. Else, for offline/unregistered users, you can inquire through PM by clicking the Send Owner A Private Message button (available depending on the settings of the advertisement owner).
  4. Concerned members will receive e-mail notifications for posted messages.

   

  Complete Transactions (Advertiser / Client)
  
  

  1. Completing transactions or closing deals related to posted advertisements are already outside the scope of Sulit.com.ph.  The steps to undertake to complete or close any transactions will depend on the discussions between the Advertiser and the Client.

  
  Leave Member Feedback (Advertiser / Client)
  
  

  1. For every completed transaction (or partially completed transaction, for any reason) related to the posted advertisements here in Sulit.com.ph, it is recommended that the involved parties to leave a member feedback to the other party. Feedback can help build the reputation of members or can help warn other members if something went wrong with the transaction.
  2. To leave a feedback to any member, click the member username to visit the member profile.
  3. In the Member Homepage Menu, search for the Members' Feedback then click View More Feedback.  On the resulting page, click Post a feedback link.
     
  4. If the member doesn't have a feedback yet, locate the View Member Feedback from the member menu placed on the left side just below their avatar.  On the resulting page, click Post a feedback link.
     
  5. Enter the Advertisement ID which you have closed a valid transaction with.
     
  6. Select either a Positive or a Negative rating depending on the outcome of the transaction.
  7. Leave a message supporting your rating (why you leave a positive or a negative feedback)
  8. Check the option just below the WYSIWYG editor before you post your feedback so as to add justification that your feedback for the seller is indeed valid.
