  • What is ad display?

    Ad display, also known as impressions, refers to the number of times your advertisement will be seen on our website. For example, if your DIY banner ad has 1,000 ad displays, this means that it will be shown 1,000 times in the different pages of our website. The more exposure you buy, the higher your ad display will be.

  • How much Sulit Gold do you need to be able to avail the DIY Banner?

    Similar to our other SG features, the cost of the DIY Banners will depend on the chosen duration and exposure. For instance, 1 day and 1 time exposure is 5 SG, but this will automatically be adjusted once you increase the duration or exposure.

  • What are duration and exposure?

    Duration is the length of time when your advertisement is included in our DIY Banner Advertising.  It means that your advertisement will be displayed on the banner ad spaces of our website within the allotted duration. For example, if you submit your advertisement today for 30 days, then your DIY banner advertisement will be displayed for 1 month starting today.

    Exposure is equivalent to the amount of visibility that your advertisement will get.  For example, if you purchased 5 times exposure, it means that your advertisement will get 5 times the visibility that you will get if you buy only 1.  Exposure also defines the probability that your DIY banner advertisement will have higher or lower visibility.  If there is a total of 100 exposures and you purchased 20 times exposure for your advertisement, then your advertisement will have 20/100 or 20% probability to be displayed at our banner ad space. Therefore, the more exposure you purchase, the higher visibility your ads will get.

  • Will your DIY banner advertisement be displayed on the banner ad space regularly?

    This will depend on the number of exposure you will purchase. If you purchase more exposure, then the probability of your DIY banner ad to appear on our website will be higher and vice versa. DIY banner ads will be randomly displayed and will be in rotation with the other purchased DIY banner ads.

    Yes, all DIY banner advertisements will appear on our homepage and inside pages (categories, subcategories, forum, etc.).

  • Will your DIY banner advertisement be displayed on the leaderboard banner ad space all the time?

    No, all DIY banner advertisements are rotating. This means that DIY banner ads will be randomly displayed according to the number of exposure purchased. The only time that the DIY banner advertisement will change is if you refresh the page you are in. Remember, if you purchase more exposures, then the possibility of your DIY banner advertisement to continually appear will be higher.

  • What happens if you submit the same advertisement for DIY Banner Advertising even if it hasn't reached its expiration date yet?

    The counting of your DIY banner advertisement duration will start from the day it was included in our system. So even if the DIY banner ads are promoting the same product/service, they would have different deadlines because the ad duration will still depend on the day the DIY banner advertisement was added to our system.

    For the overlapping dates of your advertisement, the exposure will be added. For example, DIY banner ad xxxxx is included in our system from September 1, 2010 until September 30, 2010 while DIY banner ad yyyyy from September 15, 2010 until October 15, 2010. This simply means that your advertisement's exposure will be added from September 15-30, 2010.

  • Can you have your DIY banner ads linked to your website instead of your classified ad?

    Yes, but this will no longer be considered as DIY banner advertising. You will be under our corporate category which has a minimum buy of Php 100,000. All banner advertisements for this category will be coming from you, which is still subject to our approval. You may send your inquiries to advertise@sulit.com.ph.

  • Can you display your DIY banner ads on your own website?

    Yes, just as long as your DIY banner ads will be redirected to your classified ads on Sulit.com.ph.

  • Why is there a "..." on your DIY banner ad?

    The DIY banner ads have banner margins that can only accommodate a certain number of characters for your ad title. If it is too long, the system will automatically place a “…”.
