• What is the turing code being asked during registration?
  The turing code is a system generated image of characters that you need to specify to be able to submit a form.

  
  

  It is used to prevent automated submission of forms using what is known as bots.  With this image, only a real human will be able to read the characters in the image and be able to successfully submit the forms.  Turing codes are not case-sensitive so the example turing code above is equivalent to "j4y".  If you cannot read a turing code value, click on the turing code image to reload a new one.

• I forgot my password and I cannot login to the system
  If in any case that you forgot your password, you can reset your password by clicking the Forgot your login details? link at the bottom of the page login form (click Login link at the top).  Specify your registered E-mail Address and your new password.  A password activation link is going to be sent to your registered E-mail Address.  Click the activation link in order to use your new password.  Once your new password has been activated, you can now use it to login into our system.

• What is Secured Login and how can I apply it?
  Secured Login is used for encrypting username and password so that it cannot be read if someone tried to intercept the users connection to the internet.  You can secure your login by clicking the Secure Login Option (https) link at the bottom of the page login form (click Login link at the top). Read the messages and follow the steps carefully on the pop-up menu.

  In short, you can login in Sulit.com.ph by using your OpenID or 3rd Party Accounts from OpenID providers like Google, Yahoo!, AOL, Facebook, etc.
  
  Is OpenID safe?
  It is completely safe and login details from your OpenID provider like Google or Yahoo will NOT be shared to Sulit.com.ph. Instead, your OpenID provider will provide Sulit.com.ph the following:

  • Your OpenID Identifier (URL) which can be shared publicly
  • A special token telling Sulit.com.ph that you can login

  
  
  What are the benefits?
  Using the 3rd Party Account or OpenID allows you to use the service that you use most of the time. In my case, I am always logged in to my GMail (Google) account when online. You might be logged in to your YM (Yahoo) account or Facebook account most of the time. Then, you can use these accounts to also login to Sulit.com.ph with a few clicks. You also have lesser usernames and passwords to remember.
  
  How to use it?
  The first thing you need to do is to integrate your 3rd Party Account or OpenID in your Sulit.com.ph member account.

  • Click 3rd Party Accounts link under Member Menu in the Main Website
  • Click Add 3rd Party Account link in the displayed page. A dialog box will be displayed with the different OpenID providers.
  • Click the service that you wanted to integrate. Click Sign In button if displayed.
  • Login and give permission to use your 3rd Party Account for Sulit.com.ph
  • Your OpenID Identifier (URL) will be added in your 3rd Party Accounts page
  • Repeat the steps above to integrate more 3rd Party Accounts to your Sulit.com.ph member account

  
  
  To login using your integrated 3rd Party Account (OpenID)

  • Click the 3rd Party Accounts (OpenID) link at the top of the page
  • Click the service that you wanted to use. Click Sign In button if displayed
  • Login and give permission to use your 3rd Party Account for Sulit.com.ph.

• How can I update my Member Profile?
  Simply follow the steps below to update your profile:
  1. Click the Update Profile link under Member Menu dropdown at the top while you are logged in.
  2. On the Profile Update page, you can notice that there are 5 major sections such as Account Access and Public User Information, Private User Information, E-mail Settings and Notification Settings. You can check and update your account information based on the following sections:
  
  

  • Account Access is the section where the member can change the specified email address and password or inactivate own account. You have to specify your current password in order to change the information under this section.
    Current Password
    E-mail Address
    New Password
    Inactivate Account (ticking the 2 checkboxes beside will inactivate your account)

  
  

  

  
  

  • The Public User Information is the information available publicly such as:
    Username (cannot be changed as indicated during registration)
    Complete Name
    Phone Number (Landline)
    Cellphone Number (Mobile)
    Address (Line 1)
    Address (Line 2)
    Location
    Member Photo or Avatar

  • The Private User Information, on the other hand, is the information that is not displayed anywhere in the website. The information collected in this section is being used to further improve our system.

  • Email Settings is the section where the member can configure the e-mail notifications that they can receive from Sulit.com.ph. You can configure your E-mail Settings by ticking the corresponding checkboxes of the following:
  
  

     DO NOT receive our important monthly updates (newsletter)
     DO NOT receive private message notifications
     DO NOT receive post notifications to bookmarked advertisements
     DO NOT receive notifications for expiring bookmarked advertisements
     DO NOT receive notifications for new referrals
     DO NOT receive notifications for new feedbacks
     DO NOT receive promotions from Sulit.com.ph / advertisers

  • Notification Settings is the section where the member can also configure other notifications (message being displayed in the website) that they can receive from Sulit.com.ph. You can configure your Notification Settings by ticking the corresponding checkboxes of the following:

    
     DO NOT receive chat notification (applicable if Yahoo Messenger Nick/Handle is specified above)
     Hide updated bookmarks notification
     Hide violation warnings notification
     Hide notification to specify contact information

  • Other Settings is the section where you can set if you will allow Non-members/visitors to send you a private message through your advertisements.

  
     DO NOT allow non-members to send me a private message through my advertisements
     DO NOT display members signatures in my view

  3. Submit the form by clicking the Update Profile button to apply changes.

• How Can I Upload A Photo/Avatar for my Profile?
  • All you have to do is update your member profile.
  • From your homepage, click the member dropdown menu placed on the top.
  • Choose/click "Update Profile".
  • Navigate to the part for the "MEMBER PHOTO OR AVATAR".

  
  
  
  

  • Browse for the image that you would like to place on your profile as avatar then hit "UPDATE PROFILE".

• How can I inactivate/close my account?
  To inactivate/close your account:

  1. Please login into our system and click the Update Profile under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
  2. On the Profile Update page under Account Access section, find the Inactivate Account text and tick the two (2) checkboxes beside it.  Make sure that you also enter your password on Current Password textbox.
  3. Click the Update Profile button afterwards.

• Can I reactivate my closed account?
  Yes! You can reactivate your closed account. Reactivation of closed accounts can be done simply by logging in with your correct username and password.  The system will automatically activate the account on successful login.

• Can I change my username?
  No! Change of username is NOT allowed. Our system (just like the majority of the web applications available) does not allow changes in username because the effect will be huge in application.

• How can I get a verified status for my contact details?
  
    
  
  Having a verified status displayed with your contact details increases your credibility to potential clients. To verify your contact details:

  1. Please login into our system and click the Update Profile under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
  2. On the Profile Update page under Public User Information section, find the Click here to verify your cellphone no. for free link and click it.
  3. On Verify Cellphone No. page, click the Verify Cellphone No. button. 
  4. To complete the verification, please follow the steps indicated in the message after clicking the button.

• I have already verified my contact details but I need to change them. Is it possible?
  
   
  
  Yes, it is possible to change your contact details after it has been verified.  To change your contact details for verification:
  

  1. Please login into our system and click the Update Profile link under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
  2. Enter new Cellphone No. and tick the Tick this checkbox to remove your cellphone no verified status (also to allow update of your cellphone no.) checkbox and submit.
  3. Take note, that you will lose your verified status for the specific contact that you updated after verification.  To retain your verified status, you have to reverify your contact details by submitting another verification request in our queue.

• What are the Benefits of Premium Membership?

  • Create your signature block which is automatically appended to all your classified ads, message posts and private messages. You can include links and images to your signature.
    

   

  • Longer expiration for all your classified ads.
    • Premium Members: Maximum of up to 90 days
    • Regular Members: Maximum of up to 60 days only

   

  • Multiple auto-extension options allowed
    
    • Premium Members: Extensions for 30, 60 and 90 days
      
    • Regular Members: Extensions for 60 days only

   

  • More saved private messages allowed
    • Premium Members: Maximum of 50 messages
    • Regular Members: Maximum of 15 messages only

• How can I upgrade for a Premium Membership to get advantages of a Premium Member?
   
  
  Upgrading for a Premium Membership can give you lots of advantages in the use of our system.  To upgrade for premium membership, please login into our system and then click the Upgrade Membership link under Member Menu dropdown at the top. Provide desired premium membership duration and submit my clicking the Upgrade Membership button.
  
  Make it sure that you have enough SC (Sulit Currency) to upgrade membership.  The cost of premium membership a day changes daily.

• My Premium Membership status is not yet expired but I already wanted to extend my Premium Membership, is it possible?
  Yes, it is possible to extend your premium membership even your current status is not yet expired.  For example, you first upgraded for premium membership for 60 days.  After 30 days, you decided to extend your status to 60 days more.  By upgrading your membership to another 60 days,  You will have a total of 90 days to go (60 days + 60 days - 30 days) before your premium membership expires.
  
  The steps to extend your premium membership is the same with the steps during upgrade.

• Can I invite my friends?
  Yes! You can invite your friends to join Sulit.com.ph.  Inviting new members will help for the continuous growth of the community which is beneficial to all Sulit Community members. To be able to invite friends, follow the procedure stated below:

    1. Click Invite Friends under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
    2. On Invite Friends page, select a particular referral link from the options listed and give the referral link to your friends.

• Inactive Members
  All members who have not logged in for the past 12 months (1 year) will have their account automatically inactivated.  Once your account has been inactivated, you will be informed accordingly by the system next time you login successfully and your account will be automatically activated.
