• What is the turing code being asked during registration?
  The turing code is a system generated image of characters that you need to specify to be able to submit a form.

  
  

  It is used to prevent automated submission of forms using what is known as bots.  With this image, only a real human will be able to read the characters in the image and be able to successfully submit the forms.  Turing codes are not case-sensitive so the example turing code above is equivalent to "j4y".  If you cannot read a turing code value, click on the turing code image to reload a new one.

• I did not receive my member activation e-mail. What should I do?
  If you did not receive your member activation e-mail in your Inbox, it is possible that your E-mail client has flagged our system-generated e-mail as bulk or spam e-mail.  Check your Bulk, Spam or Junk folder as the activation e-mail might have been redirected by your E-mail client into that folder.  To minimize the occurence of this case, add the e-mail address displayed in our registration page to your Address Book or E-mail Whitelist Filter.
  
  If ever you cannot find your activation e-mail, first, add the e-mail address as described above.  Then click Login link at the top. Then click the Resend Activation Code link below the login form.  Specify your registered E-mail Address and submit the form.  Your member activation E-mail is going to be sent again to your registered e-mail address.

• I forgot my password and I cannot login to the system
  If in any case that you forgot your password, you can reset your password by clicking the Forgot your login details? link at the bottom of the page login form (click Login link at the top).  Specify your registered E-mail Address and your new password.  A password activation link is going to be sent to your registered E-mail Address.  Click the activation link in order to use your new password.  Once your new password has been activated, you can now use it to login into our system.

• What is Secured Login and how can I apply it?
  Secured Login is used for encrypting username and password so that it cannot be read if someone tried to intercept the users connection to the internet.  You can secure your login by clicking the Secure Login Option (https) link at the bottom of the page login form (click Login link at the top). Read the messages and follow the steps carefully on the pop-up menu.

• How can I update my Member Profile?
  Simply follow the steps below to update your profile:
  1. Click the Update Profile link under Member Menu while you are logged in.
  2. On the Profile Update page, you can notice that there are 4 major sections such as Public User Information, Private User Information, E-mail Settings and Account Access. You can check and update your account information based on the following sections:
  
  

  • The Public User Information is the information available publicly such as:
    Username (cannot be changed as indicated during registration)
    Complete Name
    Phone Number (Landline)
    Cellphone Number (Mobile)
    Address (Line 1)
    Address (Line 2)
    Location
    Member Photo or Avatar
    Yahoo Messenger

  
  

  • The Private User Information, on the other hand, is the information that is not displayed anywhere in the website. The information collected in this section is being used to further improve our system.
    Birthday
    Gender

  
  

  • Email Settings is the section where the member can configure the e-mail notifications that they can receive from Sulit.com.ph. You can configure your E-mail Settings by ticking the corresponding checkboxes of the following:

  
     DO NOT receive our important monthly updates (newsletter)
     DO NOT receive private message notifications
     DO NOT receive post notifications to bookmarked advertisements
     DO NOT receive notifications for expiring bookmarked advertisements
     DO NOT receive notifications for new referrals
     DO NOT receive notifications for new feedbacks
     DO NOT receive promotions from Sulit.com.ph / advertisers
     ALLOW visitors to send me an e-mail through my advertisement pages (NO login required)
  
  

  • Account Access is the section where the member can change the specified email address and password or inactivate own account. You have to specify your current password in order to change the information under this section.
    Current Password

    New Password
    Verify Password
    Inactivate Account (ticking the 2 checkboxes beside will inactivate your account)

  
  3. Submit the form by clicking the Update Profile button to apply changes.

• How can I inactivate/close my account?
  To inactivate/close your account:

  1. Please login into our system and click the Update Profile under Member Menu.
  2. On the Profile Update page under Account Access section, find the Inactivate Account text and tick the two (2) checkboxes beside it.  Make sure that you also enter your password on Current Password textbox.
  3. Click the Update Profile button afterwards.

• Can I reactivate my closed account?
  Yes! You can reactivate your closed account. To reactivate your inactive/closed account:

  1. Click the Login link at the top of the page.
  2. Then click the Resend Activation Code link below the login form.  Specify your registered E-mail Address and submit the form.  Your member activation E-mail is going to be sent again to your registered e-mail address.

• How can I get a verified status for my contact details?
  
    
  
  Having a verified status displayed with your contact details increases your credibility to potential clients. To verify your contact details:

  1. Please login into our system and click the Update Profile under Member Menu.
  2. On the Profile Update page under Public User Information section, find the Click here to verify your cellphone no. for free link and click it.
     
  3. On Verify Cellphone No. page, click the Verify Cellphone No. button. 
     
  4. To complete the verification, please follow the steps indicated in the message after clicking the button.

• I have already verified my contact details but I need to change them. Is it possible?
  
   
  
  Yes, it is possible to change your contact details after it has been verified.  To change your contact details for verification:
  

  1. Please login into our system and click the Update Profile link under your Member Menu.
  2. Enter new Cellphone No. and click Update Profile button.
  3. On Profile Update page, tick the Remove your Cellphone No. verified status checkbox and submit.  Take note, that you will lose your verified status for the specific contact that you updated after verification.  To retain your verified status, you have to reverify your contact details by submitting another verification request in our queue.

• What are the Benefits of Premium Membership?

  Benefits of Premium Members

  • Highlighted classified ads which are more visible than normal ads resulting to higher advertisement view counts and sales conversions.

  • Create your signature block which is automatically appended to all your classified ads, message posts and private messages. You can include links and images to your signature.
    
    

   

  • Longer expiration for all your classified ads.
    • Premium Members: Maximum of up to 180 days
    • Regular Members: Maximum of up to 90 days only

   

  • Longer advertisement extensions allowed
    • Premium Members: Extensions for 60 days each
    • Regular Members: Extensions for 30 days each only

   

  • Shorter and more frequent advertisement repost allowed
    • Premium Members: Repost as frequent as 30 days
    • Regular Members: Repost for 60 days

   

  • More saved private messages allowed
    • Premium Members: Maximum of 50 messages
    • Regular Members: Maximum of 15 messages only

• How can I upgrade for a Premium Membership to get advantages of a Premium Member?
   
  
  Upgrading for a Premium Membership can give you lots of advantages in the use of our system.  To upgrade for premium membership, please login into our system and then click the Upgrade Membership link under your Member Menu. Provide desired premium membership duration and submit my clicking the Upgrade Membership button.
  
  Make it sure that you have enough SC (Sulit Currency) to upgrade membership.  The cost of premium membership a day is only 10 SC.

• My Premium Membership status is not yet expired but I already wanted to extend my Premium Membership, is it possible?
  Yes, it is possible to extend your premium membership even your current status is not yet expired.  For example, you first upgraded for premium membership for 60 days.  After 30 days, you decided to extend your status to 60 days more.  By upgrading your membership to another 60 days,  You will have a total of 90 days to go (60 days + 60 days - 30 days) before your premium membership expires.
  
  The steps to extend your premium membership is the same with the steps during upgrade.

• Can I invite my friends?
  Yes! You can invite your friends to join Sulit.com.ph.  Inviting new members will help for the continuous growth of the community which is beneficial to all Sulit Community members. To be able to invite friends, follow any procedure stated below:

  
  

  • Procedure 1
    1. Click Tell a Friend menu item at the menu bar at the top.
    2. The Tell a Friend page will be displayed.  Provide required details then click SEND.

  
  

  • Procedure 2
    1. Click Invite Friends under your Member Menu at the left.
    2. On Invite Friends page, select a particular referral link from the options listed and give the referral link to your friends.

• Inactive Members
  All members who have not logged in for the past 12 months (1 year) will have their account automatically inactivated.  Once your account has been inactivated, you will be informed accordingly by the system when you tried to login again. To re-activate your account, you will need to Resend your Activation Code again with the link available in the login page.
  
  Also, the system will inactivate member accounts wherein the corresponding e-mail addresses are bouncing our e-mails due to the following:
  

  • mailbox full
  • e-mail account deactivated
  • e-mail account suspended
  • e-mail domain inaccessible
  • mailserver with technical problems
  • e-mail requiring verification

  
  Once you have fixed the problems with your e-mails, you can resend your activation code again to re-activate your account.
