  • How to post an advertisement?
    Only registered members can post an advertisement.  To register a member account, fill up this form and submit.

    After logging in to our system, you can access our form for posting advertisements through any of the following:
    • Procedure 1
      1. Click the POST A FREE AD button at the left column from the Home Page.
      2. The classified ads category tree will be displayed.  Select (click) the category where you want to post your advertisement.

      1. Click Post Classified Ads menu item under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
      2. The classified ads category tree will be displayed.  Select (click) the category where you want to post your advertisement.

      1. Click View Dashboard menu item under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
      2. Click Post Classified Ads button displayed on the Menu placed on the left column.
      3. The classified ads category tree will be displayed.  Select (click) the category where you want to post your advertisement.

    After doing any of the procedures above, the corresponding form for the selected category will be displayed wherein you can specify the details of your advertisement.  Complete the form and submit to post your advertisement.
  • Can I save my unfinished advertisement without publishing it?
    Yes! You can save your advertisement as draft if you are still not finish completing the contents.  When posting an advertisement click the SAVE AS DRAFT button (beside the Submit and Publish button).

    The resulting page will be something like the image below.  If you are now done with your advertisement, you can use either of the 2 links encircled in red to publish/submit your ads.



    Otherwise, if you are still not done editing your ads and wanted to add a few more fire to it to make it more attractive, you can always click the Edit link to go ahead and update your ads some more.  After you are done, click the Update and Publish button for you to completely post your advertisement.  Kindly refer to the image below:

  • How to update my advertisement?

    Edit Advertisement

    To be able to update your classified ads:
    1. Go to the list of your Classified Ads by clicking Manage Classified Ads under Member Menu dropdown at the top while you are logged in.
    2. Then choose the advertisement that you would like to update and click Edit for that advertisement.  You can also update classified ads by viewing the advertisement page and click Edit.
    3. In advertisement form, update the necessary details and submit by clicking Update and Publish button.

  • How to delete my advertisement?

    Delete Advertisement

    To be able to delete your classified ads:
    1. Go to the list of your Classified Ads by clicking Manage Classified Ads under Member Menu dropdown at the top while you are logged in.
    2. Then choose the advertisement that you would like to delete and click Delete for that advertisement.  You can also delete classified ads by viewing the advertisement page and click Delete. Deleted ads will be listed on your classified ads archived (deleted) list. If you wish to permanently remove the ads on your archived (deleted) ads list, click the Permanently Remove advertisement link on selected advertisement. However, permanently deleting the ads will affect the corresponding feedbacks connected to it. The related advertisement ID to such feedbacks cannot be viewed anymore when clicked.
    3. In confirmation message, click OK.
  • What if my item for sale is already sold?



    To be able to label your classified ads as sold:
    1. Go to the list of your Classified Ads by clicking Manage Classified Ads under Member Menu dropdown at the top while you are logged in.
    2. Then choose the advertisement that you would like to put a label and click Item Sold for that advertisement.  You can also label your classified ads as sold by viewing the advertisement page and click Item Sold.
    3. In confirmation message, click OK.
  • How to Reactivate my expired or deleted advertisement?
    Reactivating expired (or deleted) classified ads is very easy.  To be able to repost expired (or deleted)

    1. Click the Manage Deleted Ads under Member Dropdown Menu at the top while you are logged in.
    2.  Then choose the advertisement that you would like to repost and click Reactivate this advertisement link for that advertisement.  You can also repost your deleted classified ads by viewing the advertisement page and click Reactivate.
  • How long will my advertisement last and how can I extend it?
    Advertisements duration depends on the expiration that you will set during the creation of the ads.  The maximum expiration is:
    • 60 days for Regular members
    • 90 days for Premium members

    Before an advertisement expires, the owner of the advertisement will be notified that the advertisement will expire soon.  The owner has the option to extend the expiration of an advertisement by clicking the Extend link (only available for expiring ads) when viewing the classified ads details.

    You can also directly change the expiration of your advertisement even it is not yet expired.  To be able to do this, edit the advertisement that you would like to extend the expiration and select the desired expiration duration on Change Expiration dropdown list.

    Extending the advertisements expirations is available:
    • upto 45 days extension each for Regular members
    • upto 90 days extension each for Premium member

    You can also set your online advertising into auto-pilot by using the Auto-Extend feature of your ads.  Ads set for automatic repost will be reposted always on a selected interval:
    • Minimum of 45 days interval allowed for Regular Members
    • Minimum of 30 days interval allowed for Premium Members
  • How will I know if someone posted a message to my advertisements?
    When you create an advertisement, the system will automatically create a bookmark for you for that advertisement (available in My Classifieds Bookmarks page).  When other members post a message to any advertisements in your bookmark list, you will receive an e-mail notification regarding the new posted message.

  • How can I feature my advertisement for added exposure?
    We have introduced the Feature Item block to give more exposure to members' classified ads.  Featured Items will be dispalyed in all pages which are highly visible to all system users.

    Feature Ads

    To be able to feature your classified ads, you will need to have SC (Sulit Currency).
    1. Go to the list of your Classified Ads by clicking Manage Classified Ads under Member Menu dropdown at the top while you are logged in.
    2. Then choose the advertisement that you would like to feature and click Feature for that advertisement.  You can also feature classified ads by viewing the advertisement page and click Feature.
    3. Fill up the form with the desired text that will be displayed and submit by clicking Feature Item button.
    4. You can view the details of your featured items by clicking Manage Featured Items under Member Menu dropdown at the top. To edit the text displayed in Featured Item, click Edit Text. Type the new desired text on the form and submit.
  • What is Priority Ad Listing?
    Priority Ad Listing is one of the exciting features that will also add exposure to your ads. Giving priority to an advertisement will place it at the top of other advertisement listings.

    Prioritize Ads

    To be able to move your classified ads at the top of the advertisement listings, you will also need to have SC (Sulit Currency).
    1. Go to the list of your Classified Ads by clicking Manage Classified Ads under Member Menu dropdown at the top while you are logged in.
    2. Then choose the advertisement that you would like to prioritize and click Prioritize for that advertisement.  You can also prioritize classified ads by viewing the advertisement page and click Prioritize.
    3. On Prioritize Ad Listing page, click the Prioritize This Advertisement button.
  • How can I expose my advertisement?
    Exposed Items are being displayed in random in the Exposed Tab (displayed in all pages). Get added exposure for your advertisements by exposing your items now.

    To be able to expose your classified ads, you will also need to have SC (Sulit Currency).
    1. Go to the list of your Classified Ads by clicking Manage Classified Ads under Member Menu dropdown at the top while you are logged in.
    2. Then choose the advertisement that you would like to expose and click Expose for that advertisement.  
    3. On Expose Item page, select number of days or duration which you wanted your ads to be exposed and click the Expose Item button.
    4. You can view the details of your exposed items by clicking View Exposed Items under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
  • How can I include my Advertisement on the Shoutout Ads list?
    To add any or all of your active advertisements to the Shoutout Ads list, follow these simple instructions:

    • Go to your Member Dashboard page.
    • Click on Manage Classified Ads link.



    • Choose which of your ads you would like to include on the list then click the Shout link on top of it from the choices of features above that particular advertisement.



    • On the resulting page, enter your Shoutout Message on the given field and click the Shout button below it to finally include it on the Shoutout Ads list.



  • How can I promote my advertisements in other websites?
    There are 4 options that you can choose in order to further promote all your advertisements in other websites. These are through the Boxed Ads, Advertisement Ticker 1 and 2 and Referral Image. Boxed Ads and Advertisement Tickers are HTML code-based tool which can be used to display your advertisement listings on your profile page, blog, website, forum or e-mail signature to generate more exposure to all your advertisements. The Referral Image, likewise, is an HTML code-based which can generate image with your own homepage URL. You can also use the Referral Image in other websites like the Advertisement Tickers.

    You can generate your customized boxed ads, advertisement tickers and referral image through the following steps:

    • Boxed AdsPromote your Ads
      1. Click the Promote Your Ads link under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
      2. In Promote Your Ads page, click the corresponding Customize and Get Embed Codes link for Boxed Ads.
      3. In Boxed Ads form, you can select specific ads (max of 10) from your advertisement’s list by clicking the Select Here link. On the pop-up window just tick the corresponding checkbox of all the ads that you want to be included on your boxed ads and click Submit Selected Ads button afterwards.
      4. Submit the form once completed. Then, copy and paste the corresponding HTML code generated to your web page. Get the HTML Code (with link to your Sulit homepage) or URL if you will put the boxed ads into your websites. Otherwise, get the Forum BBCode (with link to your Sulit homepage) if you will put the advertisement ticker into website forums.

  • Advertisement Ticker 1
    1. Click the Promote Your Ads link under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
    2. In Promote Your Ads page, click the corresponding Customize and Get Embed Codes link for Advertisement Ticker 1.
    3. In Advertisement Ticker form, you can opt to change the Text Color, Background Color, Initial Main Text Displayed and Initial Sub Text Displayed. You can also select specific ads (max of 10) from your advertisement’s list by clicking the Select Here link. On the pop-up window just tick the corresponding checkbox of all the ads that you want to be included on your advertisement ticker and click Submit Selected Ads button afterwards.
    4. Submit the form once completed. Then, copy and paste the corresponding HTML code generated to your web page. Get the HTML Code (with link to your Sulit homepage) or URL if you will put the advertisement ticker into your websites. Otherwise, get the Forum BBCode (with link to your Sulit homepage) if you will put the advertisement ticker into website forums.

    • Advertisement Ticker 2
      1. Click the Promote Your Ads under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
      2. In Promote Your Ads page, click the corresponding Customize and Get Embed Codes link for Advertisement Ticker 2.
      3. In Advertisement Ticker form, you can opt to display your member profile and email address. You can also select specific ads (max of 10) from your advertisement’s list by clicking the Select Here link. On the pop-up window just tick the corresponding checkbox of all the ads that you want to be included on your advertisement ticker and click Submit Selected Ads button afterwards.
      4. Submit the form once completed. Then, copy and paste the corresponding HTML code generated to your web page. Get the HTML Code (with link to your Sulit homepage) or URL if you will put the advertisement ticker into your websites. Otherwise, get the Forum BBCode (with link to your Sulit homepage) if you will put the advertisement ticker into website forums.
    • Referral Image
      1. Click the Promote Your Ads link under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
      2. In Promote Your Ads page, click the corresponding Customize and Get Embed Codes link for Referral Image.
      3. In Generate Referral Image page, select desired image width (150-500 pixels) and click the Generate Image button.
  • How to highlight my advertisement?
    One of the new features that allows ads to be highlighted independently when displayed in the ads listings. This new highlight feature is similar in process with Featured and Exposed Items.
    Highlight Ads

    A cool functionality of this new feature is the customization capability which allows you to do all or any of the following:
    • Add border to advertisement
    • Add background color
    • Make title bold
    • Make title underlined

    To be able to highlight your classified ads, you will also need to have SC (Sulit Currency).
    1. Go to the list of your Classified Ads by clicking Manage Classified Ads under Member Menu dropdown at the top while you are logged in.
    2. Then choose the advertisement that you would like to highlight and click Highlight for that advertisement.  
    3. On Highlight Item page, select number of days or duration for border, background color, title bold or title underlined and click the Highlight Item button. Each highlight feature will have its own SC Cost which will depend of the usage.
    4. You can view the details of your higlighted items by clicking View Highlighted Items under Member Menu dropdown at the top.
  • Can I add images to my advertisement?
    Yes!  You can upload unlimited images to your advertisement for free!  When posting an advertisement you will initially be given 1 file field where you can browse for images to upload together with your advertisement.  After you have selected the image to upload for the first field, an additional file filed will automatically appear where you can browse for your second image.  Then A third one will appear after this, then so on and so forth.  You can also choose to click on the option ""[Click to Add Another Image]"" for the system to give you more file fields and browse for your images with.

    Before publishing the advertisement, you can click on the ""[Remove]"" option beside any particular image that you have already chosen to remove it.  To upload more images, edit the advertisement and use the same method that you have used earlier.  You can also delete uploaded images by editing the advertisement and ticking the "Delete?" checkbox of the specific image you would like to delete and then submit the form.

  • How to use the WYSIWYG Editor?

  • What is a Thumbnail?
    A Thumbnail image is being displayed in the ads listing pages.  This gives additional information to the viewer what the item looks like or what is it all about. In your advertisement, the first uploaded image will be automatically set as a default Advertisement Thumbnail.  You can change the default thumbnail of your advertisement by editing the advertisement and ticking the "Delete Advertisement Thumbnail?" checkbox and browse for the new image on Upload New Advertisement Thumbnail section.

  • What is a Map Geocode?
    Map Geo Code is a free web mapping service application and technology provided by Google that is integrated to Sulit.com.ph where you can opt to add a location map of your business establishments in your advertisements. To add a map to your advertisement post, click Add Map link and follow the steps provided on pop-up window and as shown below:

    • Locate in the map the location that you wanted to show. Use the Location dropdown list to easily find initial location.
    • Double click on the location to center the map on that area
    • Use the zoom controls at the left to zoom out and zoom in the area (+ to zoom in, - to zoom out). AVOID zooming at the maximum zoom level.
    • Repeat the process until the zoom control is within the 2nd to 5th zoom level from the top (from the + control)
    • Double click at the exact location at the recommended zoom level (2nd to 5th level from the top) to center the map on that location
    • Click Add This Map button at the bottom when you are done






















    Then submit the advertisement form by clicking Update and Publish button. You may also delete the map you have added if you wish to by editing the advertisement and clicking the Clear link.  Then submit the advertisement form by clicking Update and Publish button to apply changes.




  • What is an Automatic Keyword?
    As the phrase implies, these are keywords automatically assigned to an advertisement. These are keywords being searched in Major Search Engines wherein your advertisement appear and has been chosen and clicked by the user. And with more than 75% of Sulit.com.ph's traffic coming from these search engines, you have to learn how to use these automatic keywords to your advantage.


  • Inactive Members
    All Members who haven't logged in for the past 6 months will have all their active advertisements automatically archived.
  • How To Delete Unwanted Responses From My Posted Advertisement
    If ever you have encountered such A situation, follow the instructions below:

    1. Make sure that you are logged into the system so as for it to distinguish you as the seller who posted that Ad.
    2. Navigate to the posted response on you Ad which you wanted to remove.
    3. On the upper right corner of that response on your Ad, you will find the Delete button.

  • How to post For Swap or For Rent advertisements?
    In order to post For Swap items, select Swap or For Swap as Classification when posting an advertisement under Buy and Sell.

    In order to post For Rent or For Hire advertisements, select For Rent / Lease or For Hire as Classification  when posting advertisement.  For Rent / Lease is available under Real Estate and For Hire is available under Cars / Automotives.
  • In what category should I post For Swap Items?
    When posting an item For Swap for another item, the item must be posted under the category where the item you own belongs to.  For example, if you own a motorcycle and you want to swap it for a laptop, you must post your advertisement under Motorcycles / Scooters and NOT under Notebooks / Laptops.  Posting it under Notebooks / Laptops will be a violation of our rules against wrong category postings.
