High five!!<br /><br /></p> <p><span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>Day 2</strong></span></p> <p>That exhilarating first day was the perfect jumpstart to our trip! Next on our list? Scuba diving. The term “scuba” is actually an acronym for “Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus”. Our HR signed majority of us up for an introductory dive given that we were all first-timers. It’s a basic 30-minute dive covering breathing and communicating using hand signals under the supervision of a licensed diver, ours came from the Carabao Dive Center team.</p> <p style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061028763_boattotalikud2.jpg"><img src="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061028763_boattotalikud2.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a>  '</p> <p style="text-align:center;"><em>Parked at the Sta. Ana Wharf</em></p> <p>During the 45-minute boat ride to Talikud Island, our dive masters, headed by Chiclet, explained the importance of each gear included in the scuba set. From the mask to the regulator to the weight belt to the fins. All the basic stuff we needed to know, nothing really complex since looking at the whole rebreather gear already looks complicated as it is!    </p> <p><img style="display:block;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;" src="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061201791_scuba101.jpg" alt="image" width="523" height="346" border="0" /></p> <p><a href="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061201705_rebreather.jpg"><img style="display:block;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;" src="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061201705_rebreather.jpg" alt="image" width="299" height="451" border="0" /></a> </p> <p>She also gave us a rundown on the hand gestures that are used underwater for communicating, like how to answer back that you’re feeling okay or what signal to use if there is danger ahead. Most importantly, since we were all diving rookies, she gave us scenarios we most probably will encounter underwater. Problems like “what happens when water starts seeping into my mask?” or “how do I release pressure from my ears?” or “I need to pee. What do I do now?” – the most popular question according to them. :)</p> <p>We went to Coral Garden and Angel’s Cove, the 2 popular diving sites in the area nestled in the protected bay at the base of Talikud Island. The underwater marine life residing both in hard and soft corals was just painstakingly beautiful. It’s pretty obvious how the Davaoeños are doing a fine job in preserving these spots!</p> <p style="text-align:center;"><br /><a href="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061347104_collage.jpg"><img style="display:block;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;" src="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061347104_collage.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a> <em style="text-align:center;">The beauty that is Talikud Island</em></p> <p>When you go scuba diving, it is important that you take to heart the hand signals that divers all over the world use to communicate. There’s a reason why it is universal because there should be zero miscommunication when you go underwater. </p> <p style="text-align:center;"> <br /><a href="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061505112_handsignal.jpg"><img style="display:block;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;" src="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061505112_handsignal.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a>  <em>Know the difference: "I want to go up!" vs. "I'm feeling okay!"</em></p> <p style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061539619_1on1.jpg"><img style="display:block;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;" src="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/061539619_1on1.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a><em> First time? The whole group headed to Zip City, known to be the most scenic, accessible and friendliest to all ages. Unlike the other zipline destinations in Davao, the zipline in Zip City is more fitting for first timers because theirs is the shortest and a little slower among the 3, with adrenaline junkies traversing 320 meters of cable that is 120 feet above ground for about 30 seconds. You have the option to zip in tandem or go solo but everyone went solo because we’re bold like that. :)</p> <p style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062015228_ziplinecollage.jpg"><img src="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062015228_ziplinecollage.jpg" alt="image" width="583" height="175" border="0" /></a> </p> <p style="text-align:center;"><em>Who do you think wins best pose?</em></p> <p>It’s rather unfortunate that it rained and the activity had to be stopped (safety first!) but looking at these photos, it’s quite obvious that we had a blast as soon as they resumed operations!</p> <p style="text-align:left;"><br /><a href="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062113660_beforezipline2.jpg"><img style="display:block;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;" src="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062113660_beforezipline2.jpg" alt="image" width="430" height="285" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062113711_beforezipline3.jpg"><img style="display:block;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;" src="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062113711_beforezipline3.jpg" alt="image" width="436" height="288" border="0" /></a>   <a href="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062113433_beforezipline4.jpg"><img src="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062113433_beforezipline4.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/06211335_zipline9.jpg"><img src="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/06211335_zipline9.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062113414_zipline8.jpg"><img src="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062113414_zipline8.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062113565_ziplinecollage7.jpg"><img src="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062113565_ziplinecollage7.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a> </p> <p>Or perhaps not? :p</p> <p><a href="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062313741_scared.jpg"><img src="http://cdn2.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062313741_scared.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062313696_scared2.jpg"><img src="http://cdn.sulitstatic.com/images/2013/0506/062313696_scared2.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a> </p> <p>Of course any Davao trip will not be complete without tasting durian! This practice is <strong>strictly</strong> not allowed in Sulit.com.ph as indicated in our <a href="http://www.sulit.com.ph/index.php/faq+view/category/11/Sulit.com.ph+Rules+and+Policies#f33"><strong>Website Policies</strong></a>. This practice also gives a <strong>bad experience</strong> to our buyers who are your potential clients.</p> <p>We have recently adjusted our search algorithm to <strong>automatically depriotize ads</strong> in violation of keywords stuffing / spamming which will mean that these ads will get <strong>less exposure</strong>.</p> <p>We will also <strong>immediately delete ads</strong> that are caught violating this policy. There will be no warning or notice to be given in this regard as the deletion will be carried out immediately. Both free ads and ads boosted with SG will be <strong>immediately deleted without refund</strong>.</p> <p>We will be using an <strong>internal violation counter</strong> for each member caught violating this policy and when a member reach a certain violation threshold, that member will be <strong>suspended immediately</strong> without warning or notice.
