Audio Lies and Myths
This powerful amp can drive a subwoofer speaker with a serious RMS to your spk. So Its not the watts vs pmpo.  Clean power is the KEY here. Even you set at MAXIMUM VOLUME do not be afraid to do so... you wont hear sound clipping in clean power of my amps! So dont be fooled by PMPO Watts. a multiples by 10 to 100.
ex. a PC speaker with ic 4watts RMS is equal to 400watts pmpo. simply marketing...hehe

Such amps w/ these specs can now compete w/ high end audio designs.
Definitely this is not CHEAP amps that is entirely design for 8ohm loads.
My amp is RE-DESIGNED to drive the insane low impedance such as 6 to 2 ohms!
Not even the best 5k to P100k pricey Receiver mono Raon Kits or Harbor Pier amps can match this challenge. Pound per Pound.

These are examples from typical specification ranges of various subs available in the market today.
If your sub driver is within this range. This is the best amp for you.

Handling power in RMS to max peak of sub driver:
75, 150 or peaks to 150, 300 --> amp5 or amp4.5 range --> 6 to 10" average subs 
300, 600 or peaks to 600, 1200 --> amp4 and amp4v2 range --> 12 to 18" most common JBL, targa etc...
1200, 2500 or peaks to 2400, 5000 --> amp2 and amp3 range --> 12 to 18" high end subs
5000 or peaks to  10,000 --> amp1 range --> line array can handle four Cerwin Vega L36 18" pro subs

Custom mono block board amp full complementary design. Plus adding more beefier power supply than logitech z5500 toroid supply. perhaps even better! due to higher voltage and higher current output stages are set. These monster amp can drive two 12inch or one 15inch driver. Review:
Custom mono PCB LM3876TF Japan orig IC w/ circuit board protection enabled.
The National Semiconductor breakthrough IC amp. It got the fastest slewrate in the industry it also have the highest s/n ratio in entire collection overture series amplifier
The personal amp must have... truly an ideal  Class A or Tube monitor class quality. Its the best!
each individual kit is 1ch per amp. can also be used as multiple satellite amps for - front/rear and center spkr.

The protection circuitry is called SPiKe by National - this stands for Self Peak instantaneous  
Temperature and will protect the amp from almost anything. Although in theory this is a  
Good thing, it's not so good when the protection circuits operate, so make absolutely sure that the amp  
Is only used in applications where clipping will never occur, or is relatively lightly loaded.

This might sound like a tall order, but for rear speakers in a surround system, or to put some serious  
Grunt into those 400W PMPO PC speakers (with the 5W RMS amplifiers - I'm not kidding), this amp is a  
Gem.

How Does It Sound?

The sound quality is very good - as I said at the beginning, I would call it audiophile hi-fi - with  
Caveats. Provided the amp is never allowed to go anywhere near clipping it sounds very good indeed.  
This is the rub - because of the comprehensive overload protection (which I have never liked in any  
Form) this amp provides more and nastier "artifacts" as it clips than a "normal" amplifier.

TIPS on subwoofer DIY.

Just remember that there is no magic box! - wag mag tiwala sa mga prefab at lalo na huwag mag invent ng design.

How you want your bass?

lower freq mas soft, lambot aka gapang bass. box tuned to 28-38hz. --> street bass
higher freq mas hard hitting aka tight pounding bass. box tuned to 39 to 60hz. --> musical

Types of box.

*Transmission line - t-line: was powerful to deliver low freq. but not clear parang may delay.
*Infinite baffle free air design used in car side doors or rear decks trunk.
*Open baffle aka box less spk.
*Horn loaded - front loaded horn: was really powerful gapang and loud. bass was not accurate and clear.
*Sealed: very accurate clear, small box.less 3db than ported. kaya 50% less ang gapang and bayo.
*Bandpass:  loud to hear pang tawag pansin. pero yun nga lang one note wonder talaga. definetly not built for sound quality.
*ABC box: dual chambered clearer than orig bandpass design.
*Isobaric: using 2 identical woofers applied to any enclosure for added efficiency.

*Ported: used most to win a trophy...  we loved the ported.really loud and clear. very basic and bass was kinda accurate. flexible too. can be tune to high or low...  less delay.

Always remember size and #s of subwoofer does matter.
