When you send a tape to a publisher, record company and etc.. this is the machine they play your tape on. I own three of them and make superb recordings.

This Tascam 122 MKIII 3 head Professional Cassette Deck is in perfect working condition and recently service and calibrated to factory specs. I used this weekly whenever i have free time until today without problems as i am particular about preventive maintenance. Mechanically and electronically this machine is in very good sound condition, both meter lights work, and the controls are smooth and clean.  Heads are clean and bright nary any wear visible.

This is great for home recording and podcasting. Analogue recording is the best mastering media prior to digital mixdowns as it attenuates the jagged jittery sound of direct digital mastering and is far more capable to handle sudden high transient levels. This helps you avoid unexpected distortions because you could then calibrate your digital recording input settings to optimum levels.
