DATA NETWORK SPECIALISTS

- Handle design, planning and upgrading of network infrastructure
- Extensive experience in managing Network devices like Cisco Routers and Cisco/Nortel Switches
- In depth knowledge of handling Network Security Devices like Cisco PIX Firewall
- Solid background in LAN/WAN (Installation, Configuration, Monitoring, Troubleshooting)
- Experience in project planning & implementation of LAN/WAN, an advantage
- Preferably Cisco Certified (CCNA, CCNP & CCSP)
- with experience in data network administration

JOB DESCRIPTION

Oversee over-all check-up and continuous maintenance of the corporate and operations data network infrastructure.

Oversee implementation of assigned changes - these will be assigned via the change management process

Administer proper network security through effective configuration of routers & access lists

Oversee use of the instrumentation in the data network and other IT infrastructure to recognize early warning signals and proactively initiate the necessary change requests and follow-up until closure

Tap domain expertise in other areas like Systems and LAN/WAN to address complex technical issues

Be aware of service levels and monitor performance against these

Complies with the Company’s Policies and Procedures, including Information Security

QUALIFICATIONS

5 Years in Data Network Administration

Extensive experience / depth of knowledge in handling Cisco equipment

Information Technology Infrastructure Library background

Knowledge in managing Nortel Switches, a plus

24/7 on-call support
