The one with front marking "BOOM BOOM" is an Isuzu Elf passenger type, body style is "Spaceship". Engine is Isuzu 4BE1 (120PS), displacement is 3636CC-diesel driven. You can have single or double tire (700x15 or 750x15) depending on your requirement. It is loaded w/ accessories, mudguard, foglamps, base antenna, formica ceiling with stainless passenger hand grip, wood grain vinyl detachable flooring, etc... For all these years we are using Suzuki engine for our 18 sitters Jeepney . It is a fuel efficient 12 valve 3 cylinders gasoline fed engine, 660CC in displacement which produces 42 horse power at 5500 regulation per minute {rpm}. Total gross weight of this Jeepney is 950 KGS. If you are to divide 950KGS by an average weight of a person at 85 KGS, the result is 11.12 or say 12 maximum. Meaning the gross weight of this Jeepney at 950 KGS converted to a maximum of 12 persons or passenger, plus the seating capacity of 18 persons, you now have 30 total persons or passenger. At 42 horsepower Suzuki engine or as we simply say 42 “horses”. A standard ordinary horse can run and carry a single person weighing 85 KGS at 75 to 80 kilometers per hour. Total weight of the jeepney plus the load of 18 passengers only consumes 30 horses of your 42 horses suzuki engine. Meaning to say your 18 passenger Jeepney is not underpower thereby giving extra 12 more horses.
If you may not ask, life of this engines if properly taken care of will lasts up to 5 years, you may rebuilt/ overhaul the engine after then. Market price is between 18 to 20 thousand pesos per engine if you wish to replace it.
You cannot find anymore 4 cylinder Suzuki engine here in the Philippines as of these days. As I knew, Japan is stopping the production of these engines due to fuel in- efficiency.

If it is a Jitney type, a passenger vehicle having rear passenger entrance, we need to confirm it from LTFRB (Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board) whether they allow those type of vehicle to ply the route of Bogo-Cebu. The most common as far as I know plying in this route is a Minibus or a Bus.
To operate, you need to secure a franchise from LTFRB. All you need to do is to secure an Endorsement from the Bogo Municipal Mayor. Once you get that endorsement, we will help you facilitate the Franchise in the most soonest time.
Fare for Bogo-Cebu route is more or less Php.100.00. The best way to get and commonly used by operators with regards to drivers fee is proper sharing. You can have 70/30. Daily gross income less fuel and other lubricants such as oil/ grease/ ATF/ brake fluids / transmission oils equals net income. From there you give 30% to the driver and the remainder 70% for the operator. By these means it will push the driver to haul more passenger us much as he could. The more passenger he gets, the more income he receives.
