We are using  Suzuki F6A engine, 12 valve , 660CC, 44 horse power. Normal mileage is about 35,000 to 100,000 kilometers.

Yes we do LPG conversions, you will only add 10T on top of the price.

Do you have a bigger engine..say about 90Hp...? I do not expect much MPG( miles per gallon) loss as the smaller engines have to work very hard to move 18 persons....on slopes and hills. Thanks po

For all these years we are using Suzuki engine for our 18 sitters Jeepney’s . It is a fuel efficient 12 valve 3 cylinders gasoline fed engine, 660CC in displacement which produces 44 horse power at 5500 rpm. Total gross weight of this Jeepney is 950 KGS. If you are to divide 950KGS by an average weight of a person at 85 KGS, the result is 11.12 or say 12 maximum. Meaning the gross weight of this Jeepney at 950 KGS converted to 12 persons or passenger of equivalent. Plus the seating capacity of 18  persons, you now have 30 total persons or passenger. At 44 horsepower Suzuki engine or as we simply say 44 “horses”. A standard ordinary horse can load or carry a single person weighing 85 KGS at 75 to 80 kilometers per hour. Total weight  of the jeepney plus the load of 18 passengers only consumes 30 horses of your 44 horses suzuki engine. Meaning to say your 18 passenger Jeepney is not underpower thereby giving extra 14 more horses.

If you may not ask, life of this engines if properly taken care of  will lasts up to 5 years, you may rebuilt/ overhaul the engine after then. Market price is between 18 to 20 thousand pesos per engine if you wish to replace it.

90 HP engine is equivalent to a Mitsubishi 4D56, Toyota 2C turbo or Isuzu C240 diesel driven engine. We can install them in behalf of its original engine, however it might be too bulky as it occupies more room. An additional Php.65T for the necessary expenses for change engine.

Sir,  wala kasi ago gaanong alam sa mga makina etc.  bakit po ba tinawag ito na zuzuki
jeepneys?  ano ba ang kaibahan nito sa mga standard jeepneys na ginagamit dito
sa Manila?  Balak ko kasi bumili para pampasada sa Quezon Province pero di ko alam
kung pupuwede ito run kasi normally ang mga tao roon ay mga namimili sa bayan at
pag uwi sa kanya kanyang barrio (barangays) ay maraming mga dala especially ung mga
may ari ng tindahan.  Kaya ba ng makina nito ang ganitong klase ng mga pasahero
kasi sa computation mo dun sa isang nagtanong kanina ay gross weight lang ng 18
passengers lang ang iniconsider mo hindi mo isinama ang bigat ng mga bagahe.

Yes, most people call it Suzuki Jitney, Suzuki Jeepney, Suzuki Multicab, Multicab Passenger or whatever they may call it. Nevertheless it comes from a Suzuki brand pick-up truck re-modified and converted into a passenger body type. Engine used is its original stack F6A 660cc, 44 horsepower gasoline engine driven. With regards to the difference between this Jeepney and the one most commonly used in Manila or Luzon is that this Suzuki jeepney is not suitable for any long distance trips and could carry only 18 to 20 passenger the most and few things or limited cargoes. Simply to say this Suzuki Jeepney is not the heavy duty type of passenger vehicle, it is only a light passenger type.
