Anti-Pimple Kit Consists of:

1. TEA TREE SOAP - a natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory agent that is perfect for acne/pimple prevention.

2. CLINDAMYCIN SOLUTION - An antibiotic used to treat acne. Shake the topical solution well before each use. Apply this liquid in a thin film after washing and drying the skin thoroughly. Avoid getting the medication in your eyes and mouth or on broken skin; if you do, use plenty of water to wash the solution away.

3. HYDROQUINONE CREAM - an effective skin lightening agent for pimple scars

4. RETINOIC ACID  0.05% - the treatment of choice for comedonal pimples/acne, or whiteheads and blackheads. It works by increasing skin cell turnover promoting the extrusion of the plugged material in the follicle. It also prevents the formation of new comedones. Tretinoin is also the only topical medication that has been proven to improve wrinkles.

5. SUNBLOCK - Daily sun protector containing natural moisturizer that keeps harmful UV rays at bay while leaving the skin less oily and radiant.

Anti-Pimple Skin Care Regimen:

 
Morning:

1. Wash the face with tea tree soap. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
2. Apply clindamycin solution all over the face & neck.
3. Apply hydroquinone cream thinly to face and neck.
4. Apply sunblock before going out.

Evening:

1. Repeat morning instructions 1-3.
2. Apply retinoic acid 0.05% (RA cream) thinly all over the face and leave it overnight. Avoid the area surrounding the eyes and sides of the nose and mouth.

NOTE:

• Retinoic acid is contraindicated in pregnancy.
• Avoid exposure to sunlight while on treatment.
• The flaking and irritation side effects are usually the worst in the first 2 weeks of application (your face may get worse before it gets better). If you notice an increase in the irritation or flaking, it's ok to take a break for a couple of days. Just don't stop completely. It will get better during the course of therapy.
  
  
  
• After 1 month, apply Retinoic Acid 0.05% to face 2x a day (morning and evening).
• After 2 months, change the dosage from retinoic acid 0.05% (2x a day) to retinoic acid 0.10% (once a day).
• After 6 mos, apply retinoic acid 0.10% 2x a day and maintain it.
