Level III-A armor provides the highest blunt trauma protection rating in soft body armor. This armor will offer excellent protect against 9mm Full Metal Jacketed Lead Round Nose bullets (124 grain) fired from an SMG at a velocity of 1400 fps, and can be effective up to .44 Magnum Lead Semi-Wadcutter (240 grain) at a velocity of 1,430 FPS. This armor is also effective against all threats mentioned in Level I, Level II-A, and Level II. This armor is the best for very high-risk situations to cover even uncommon or unusual threats. Level III-A armor minimizes blunt trauma injury to allow more effective return fire.
