We reserve the right to establish new premium rates as of any policy anniversary or whenever the group policy is amended or in case of significant number of new entrants becoming insured and / or significant deletions of insured members before or between premiums due dates.

Eligibility

All bona fide and registered members of the Policyholder who are actively performing their daily normal chores of life and in good health not below 18 years old and have not attained 65th birthday shall be eligible to participate in the Plan.

Insured Dependents

Dependents of married individuals are as follows: 
1) the legal spouse not over 65 years old
2) all unmarried children not gainfully employed, who are at least one (1) year old but not over 21 years old.

Scope of Coverage

24-hour, 365-days-a-year coverage against accidents worldwide in the course of business or pleasure. With respect to flying in aircraft or any device for aerial navigation, coverage shall not apply except while riding solely as a ticket-holding passenger, not as an operator or crew member, in, or boarding or alighting from, a certified passenger aircraft operated by a regularly established commercial airline licensed to carry passengers for hire on any regularly published scheduled, nonscheduled, special or chartered flight, and operated by a properly certified pilot flying over regular air route between two duly established and maintained airports.

Exceptions

No benefit shall be paid for:

• Intentionally self-inflicted injuries, suicide or any attempt thereat, while sane or insane;
• Any bodily or mental infirmity, disease or sickness, or infection other than infection occurring because of an accidental cut or wound;
• Murder, assault or any attempt thereat, except as specifically provided herein;
• Accident occurring while the Insured Individual is serving on full-time or parttime active duty in the Armed Forces of any country or international authority (any premium paid to be returned by the Insurer pro-rata for any such period of full-time or part-time active duty upon application by the Insured Individual);
• War, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities or warlike operations (whether war be declared or not), civil war, mutiny, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, civil commotion assuming the proportion of or amounting to a popular uprising. This exclusion shall not be affected by any endorsement which does not specifically refer to it in whole or in part;
• Poison, gas or fumes voluntarily or involuntarily taken, or any nuclear reaction, nuclear radiation or radioactive contamination, and chemical or biological contamination. For the purposes of this exclusion, “contamination” means the contamination or poisoning of people by nuclear and/or chemical and/or biological substances which cause illness and/or disablement and/or death;
• Accident occurring while the Insured Individual is operating or learning to operate or serving as a crew member of an aircraft or seacraft;
• Accident occurring while the Insured Individual is engaged in any dangerous sports or hobbies such as racing on wheels, glider flying, sailing or other hobbies which are comparably dangerous and risky unless additional premium is paid to cover such risks;
• Accident caused by the effect of alcohol, or any medication or treatment not prescribed by a legally qualified physician on the Insured Individual;
• Any violation or attempted violation of the law or resistance to arrest by the Insured Individual.
• Act of Terrorism. For the purpose of this exclusion, an act of terrorism means an act, including but not limited to the use of force or violence and/or the threat thereof, of any person or group(s) of persons, whether acting alone or on behalf of or in connection with any organization(s) or government(s), committed for political, religious, ideological or similar purposes including the intention to influence any government and/or to put the public, or any section of the public, in fear.
