ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ü  Manage the overall development and delivery of mobile software applications development, porting and testing projects.

ü  Manage workflow across multi-location based mobile software engineering and quality assurance organization; lead international software development, porting and QA teams to on-time, on-scope and on-schedule delivery of customer applications

ü   Define roles and responsibilities; plan for and anticipate inter-project dynamics;

ü  Responsible for managing and consolidating program and project information; prepare and provide management reporting for the entire program and project lifecycle.

ü  Conduct strategic planning, perform risk analysis and conducts risk management, proactively implement mitigation plans, successfully manage multiple projects concurrently, make decisions both independently and collaboratively, and drive collaboration on cross-group activities.

ü  Track progress and manage schedules.

ü  Communicate regularly with team, management and customers (as required) project status, personnel performance, business challenges, and project strategy; provide proactive communication of issues and risks to management and team; and prepare presentations

QUALIFICATIONS:

v  Excellent communication skills

v   Excellent time management and organizational skills

v   Must be able to resolve problems in a timely manner

v   Must be able to do risk and impact analysis

v   Proactive in identifying and resolving issues or conflicts within and between teams

v   Minimum of 4 year Degree (Computer and Engineering Related Course); Masters Degree is an advantage

v   At least 2 years of Project Management experience

v    2 years experience in software development is required

v    Possess general understanding in the areas of software programming, code versioning system and system design

v   Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.

v  Excellent knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, Merlin or other project management tools

v  Ability to prioritize and organize workload.
