Seminar on Public Speaking - DepED Advisory No. 179, s. 2009

We wish to announce our forthcoming seminar on Elocution Genres, designed for Public Speaking Trainors. The different literary genres to be taken up are as follows:

• Poem Recitation – treated as declamation.
• Speeches and Discourses – treated as oration.
• Monologue – a one-man act of a certain piece.
• Storytelling – the right way of handling storytelling in public
  
  

In this seminar, teacher trainors are not only given direction on the proper way to train performers, but they are also being refreshed with the beauty of literary art.

This one-day seminar will be held at the Ortigas Foundation Library, Ortigas Building, Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City on September 19, 2009, from 8:30A.M.- 4:30P.M.

Seminar fee which covers lunch and seminar handouts is Php1,000.00  per attendee. Certificates will be issued to attendees after the seminar. Please enlist at an early date to avail of the discount. Participant who will register on the day of the seminar will be charged Php 1,200.00.
