CULTURAL TRIP, LANGUAGE EDUCATION, SUMMER CAMP

A  7-day intensive  summer  learning  camp  in the Philippines  visiting   art &  cultural  museums,  the University  of  the  Philippines campus,  Quezon  Memorial Circle & museum,  man-made  lagoons,  parks,  The   Rizal  province,  Angono,  Tanay – the  famous  town  of  Filipino  artists,  view  the  world-famous  Philippine   sculptures and paintings,   Daranak Falls,  Batlag  Falls,  daraitan River,  hike  the  Sierra Madre  mountains,  fish in  Sampaloc  Lake,  view  the Pagsanjan  Falls,  enjoy  the  rides  in  the  Splash Island.  Participants  will  dine in  restaurants,  guest  houses,  resorts,  and  cook  meals  in the  summer  camp  stoves. Meals  include  nutritious  native  breakfast of   fried rice,  fried marinated  bangus  with  side   dishes,  and  tocino or the native sausages,  and  suman or  rice cakes  dipped  in  hot, thick chocolate;  lunch  and  dinner   would  include rice wrapped  in  banana  leaves,  pork and  chicken  adobo,  fish  sinigang,  Filipino-style   noodles, Pinoy  fried  chicken, etc. Learn  Filipino  games  and  native  dance.    A handbook and  a  journal   will  be  provided  to  each  participant. The Handbook   contains  English conversation lessons,  accent,  Filipino language  lessons,   profile  of  places  that  will  be  visited,  the  personal  information  about  the  people  who  will  assist  the participants  throughout  the  duration  of  the  Summer  Camp, the Program  of  Activities, Lessons about  traditional  Filipino  games &  sports, maps, trivia.
