Hiring MT Editors (2)

Edits transcribed documents consistently to comply with guidelines, standards of style (The AAMT Book of Style). Editor must also provide feedback to inform and update the transcriptionists regarding quality issues and areas of concern to avoid repetition of errors. Editor must evaluate inconsistencies and inaccuracies and appropriately flag them as needed.

Requirements:
Graduate of Medical Transcription course preferred or graduates of Medical Allied course who had previous experience as medical editor of 1 year is required.

Ability to work in all medical specialties and formats

Must be consistent in maintaining an accuracy score of 98% or higher

Advanced knowledge of medical terms and the like

In-depth knowledge of medical transcription guidelines

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including grammar, punctuation and style

Able to work with minimal supervision

Willing to work in Pasig City (Ortigas area)

Willing to work full-time, office-based
