Photo Scanning Service

Most people have 1,000's of photos packed away in a closet or storeroom in albums or, worse, in shoeboxes?  Chances are, these photos are already faded, discolored, or starting to deteriorate due to the humidity and heat.  We know the project of scanning photos can be daunting and time-consuming .  We will scan your photos to digital files and put on a CD or DVD.  You can start to preserve, enjoy, and share your photos with family and friends.  The memories and laughter seeing an old picture is just PRICELESS.

PROTECT your photos from floods and other natural disasters! I will upload your photos to a free on-line photo website like photobucket and multiply.  For the non-techie, it's like having an email but used  primarily for photos.  If you still do not have an account, I will create an account for you and teach you how to use it.  Just change the password after I turn over the account.  I will charge an additional Php 150.00 for this service. I know it's a free website so why should I charge a client?  Well, try to upload 500 photos and see how long it takes.


STANDARD PACKAGE

Services include:

1. Scanning of pictures at 300dpi JPEG format.
2. Image will be rotated to proper orientation.
3. Scanned pictures will be given in a CD or DVD.
4. The digital images will be stored for 3 months, unless forfeited by the client, just in
    case the CD copy was lost by the client after the delivery was made.  The client will be charged Php 300 for a replacement CD, shipping already included.

ARCHIVE PACKAGE

Services include:

1. Scanning of pictures at 600dpi JPEG format.
2. Image will be rotated to proper orientation.
3. Scanned pictures will be given in a CD or DVD.
4. Cropping to the edge of the image to remove border
5. Image-By-Image correcting of exposure problems where possible
6. Image-By-Image correcting of color problems where possible
7.  The digital images will be stored for 6 months, unless forfeited by the client, just in
    case the CD copy was lost by the client after the delivery was made.  The client will be charged Php 300 for a replacement CD, shipping already included.

NOTE:

1. Pictures should be removed from the album and ready to scan.

If you want to have a specific folder in the CD for each batch of pictures; arrange the pictures per folder, secure it with a rubber band and attach a paper with the folder name.

1. You can send the album as well if you want us to remove the pictures and return it after scanning.  However, due to the several factors that might affect the album after  the removal of pictures, we cannot guarantee the album to be in its original condition when we return it.  Some albums lose the adhesiveness of the clear plastic after several years. We will charge an additional Php100 per album to the total price.
2. Depending on the number of orders,  500 pictures would take 3-5 days to process.

Slides and Negatives:
Same pricing scheme applies.  If the slides or negatives has deteriorated due to dirt, mud, humidity, I can clean them for you with an additional charge of 1 peso per slide/negative.
