Plantex is used as a deodorizing agent in our waste water treatment facilities. It is

proven effective in eliminating odor from wet wells, collection systems, and

manhole and minimizes production of sludge inside septic tanks. Plantex does not

in anyway harm the bacterium present in the treatment process of our plants.

Chevalier Enviro Services, Incorporated (CESI)

Immediate and significant reduction in foul odor emission was

observed during the initial use of PLANTEX. Aside from the

liquid concentrate, PLANTEX powder soap was also offered for

washing and cleaning purposes.

Convinced by the effectiveness of the products in odor control,

the following applications were perfected by CESI:

- Use of PLANTEX in the operation of the Microwave Disinfection Unit (MDU)

- Odor control in the raw waste storage room and treated waste area

- Removal of odor from mobile garbage bins used in transporting raw wastes

- Floor washing

- PLANTEX Solution as scrubbing liquid from the packed tower

The Plantex Solution was very effective for the maintenance of

urinals. On the 1st day of the product testing, after 5 minutes of

application the foul odor were eliminated, the thick/stingy

yellowish urines were removed. The effect of the solution lasted

for 18 to 24 hours before the foul odor reoccur. For the weeklong

testing, 4111 urinal users were recorded or an average of

705 users per day.

Further observed that the solution changed the appearance of the urinals. The

number of users also increases.

Pilotage Trading And Construction (PTAC)

PTAC uses Plantex to spray the garbage trucks before and after

disposal of waste to the facility. This is done to eliminate odor

and to sanitize the trucks to prevent contamination of the communities

where it passes through.

International Farm Corporation (INFARMCO)

INFARMCO started using PLANTEX for disinfection, odor control,

wastewater and solid waste treatment on July 2003. Disinfection

of pigpens and control of foul odor in the farm is being done by

regular spraying of PLANTEX solution using backpack sprayers

and fixed mist dispensers. The mist dispensers consist of a day

tank which supplies PLANTEX solution to spray nozzles installed

above the pigpens. A dilution ratio of one (1) part PLANTEX to

500 parts water was found to be ideal for spraying at regular time intervals.

PLANTEX concentrate is being added to the drinking water supply for the farm

animals to maintain a 1:500 dilution ratio. This resulted to less odorous liquid and

solid animal wastes. No adverse effect was noted on the health of the animals.

Addition of PLANTEX concentrate to the effluent from the anaerobic digester greatly

improved the efficiency of the existing wastewater treatment facility. By

maintaining a concentrate to wastewater ratio pf 1:1,250 in the lagoon system, the

final effluent is now being recycled for the washing of the pigpens. Recycled

wastewater is also being used for irrigating the vegetable plots and orchards within

the farm during the dry seasons. The piggery farm is no longer discharging

wastewater from its operations.

PLANTEX concentrate is added to wet solid recovered from the stationary screen

for faster decomposition. Composition takes about two (2) weeks to one (1) month

and the resulting compost is being used as soil conditioner in the surrounding farm

lots.

Aside from the elimination of pollution problems, the disinfectant action of PLANTEX

made the farm environment more conducive to animal growth by the elimination
