Kaiboer K200


K200
It is a combination of Digital Media Player (DMP), Network Attached Storage (NAS) and a server. It is an all-in-one network device that allows the user to view, store, listen and share your files easily. It has an easy-access Hark Disk Drive (HDD) bay that can easily accommodate a SATA Hard Disk without having to open the unit up to attached a hard drive. The K200 is very well engineered as its outer casing is made of full aluminum that can quickly dissipate heat to facilitate long term use. And a cooling fan attach to the main board to maintain a stable temperature of the processor. To top it all off, the K200 has a sleek exterior appearance that will fit very well in your home theater system.

Frequently asked questions1. What is Network Media Tank (NMT)?*Network Media Tank is a combination of Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Digital Media Player(DMP). All these features are all built-in in one compact unit that allows you to store, backup, share your digital media and your files. The NMT allows you to directly access your media files via LAN or Wireless network and directly play it in your HDTV.
2.Why do I need the NMT?*NMT can be considered the next generation home theater system for your living room. You can play your favorite backup movies or buy movies thru the internet and directly view the movies in your HD plasms/Projector/LCD TV. NMT supports H.264 which is compliant of 1080p high definition codec used by Bluray and HD-DVD.
3.How do I connect my NMT to my Home Theater?*Kaiboer support different type of connections. You can connect it using HDMI, Component cable, Composite Cable, Optical/coaxial inputs to your AVR.

6.Can I use my NMT to surf the web? * Yes, you can use your NMT to surf the web using the remote or a USB keyboard.
7.What is Bit Torrent(BT)?*Bittorrent works by downloading your desired media file thru peer-to-peer sharing. You can download your desired torrent file thru you PC and transfer it into the NMT.
8.Lost of Audio after Firmware update*Reset to factory setting. Go to setup-> Maintenance-> Reset factory default.
9.Why my Kaiboer K100/K200 will not start after resetting to factory default?*The K100/K200 has reseted to default video resolution that may not be compatible with you display. Use the following shortcut keys to get back display.
TV-mode shortcut keys command:
- TV Mode + 0 = Auto TV mode
- TV Mode + 1 = Component/Composite NTSC 480i
- TV Mode + 2 = Component/Composite PAL 576i
- TV Mode + 3 = reserved
- TV Mode + 4 = HDMI/Component 720p50
- TV Mode + 5 = HDMI/Component 1080i50
- TV Mode + 6 = HDMI/Component 1080p50
- TV Mode + 7 = HDMI/Component 720p60
- TV Mode + 8 = HDMI/Component 1080i60

1. Goto Setup->Audio/Video, do a Save to make it persistent
2. Press and release 'TVMode' first, wait for two seconds, then press the number key.
10.How do you connect your NMT to your PC?*Download the file from the support page under the file name of ‘EXT2IFS_1_11a.exe’. Before installing the program attach your NMT to your USB via the USB Slave port. During installation, make sure you do not click on the "Enable the read-only option". Please Make sure that you have to "Enable UTF-8 encoding" and "Enable the large file feature". You may enable the "Assign drive letter automatically upon plugging in the device for first time" option. so that you don’t have to manually assign drive letters in the future. If you mistakenly set to read-only mode on, you will need to re-install the application to turn off this feature.
