Do not transact with MRS. HILDA LEGASPI. This individual is a scammer. She has a modus operandi that I want to share with everyone.
She ordered something from my site and she paid for it. When I gave the tracking number, she complained that the tracking no. does not exist (the XEND express site has problems that time).
Saturday
I called up Xend and in the end, they issued a consolidator that was sent via email. I forwarded the information to her but despite that, she insisted on going to Manila to get her item personally (because she does not trust me and even disrespected the Xend agent who called her to explain the situation of the Xend site and the whereabouts of her item.) I asked the Xend agent to stop the delivery of my item to her and they affirmed. That was past 5 pm.
Sunday
The next day, she was texted by my secretary, asking Mrs. Legaspi to inform her what time will she drop by the store (that was a Sunday, and my secretary is supposedly having her day-off) but that individual refused to reply to my sec’s texts. When the buyer has not replied despite texts, my secretary left to attend church service (that time, I was attending my own church service in Navotas). Then she arrived at the store and was furious to find no one there! She demanded that we all go to the store to give her the orders. This time, she is using another cellphone number. I asked her in one of the conversations through text, “Are you sure that my secretary has not texted you? I think my secretary won’t do that! I want to know what happened. I will ask her if she indeed texted you, habang nakaharap ka.” She replied, “Hindi na importante un (kung nagtext ba o hindi)” This person is completely not seeing the importance of communicating effectively. She picked up the items and did not pay for the items that were sent via XEND.
When she got there, we conversed a little and then when my secretary arrived, we went inside the establishment. When my secretary asked “Miss, hindi ba tinext kita kanina? Hindi ka nagrereply,” shed dodged the question and said nothing. That day ended but I received a text again (from her new number) that she wants her 70 pesos back (the xend fee that she paid too) I asked her to give me her bank details and promised to send her back the 70 pesos.
Monday
I sent her money (70 pesos back) at around noon. I texted her to inform her about her returned money, but no reply.
Tuesday
The Xend agent called me around noon. Agent Chuck informed me that a certain person named Joy (turns out to be Hilda’s sister) received the item. Xend wasn’t able to stop the item from going to the recipient. I quickly called Hilda (through her two numbers) but no one answered my calls and at one point someone put the phone off. Later that night, a certain person answered my call and told me that she is not Hilda but she asked that I should call tomorrow to talk to Hilda.
Wednesday
I called several times to both of her numbers but no reply. I asked her is one of my texts that I shall pay for the LBC fee to send the item back to me, but she said she is busy to do that. I reminded her about her 70 pesos which I returned immediately, she did not respond. She offered to pay for the item then she disagreed after five minutes (maybe after she realized that she is going to pay 1250 ++ pesos plus shipping.
Thursday
No texts. No calls. I texted but no reply.
Friday
No texts. No calls. I texted but no reply. This is the 5th day my item was in her possession.
This person is the typical ill-mannered Filipino. It is unfair to say “parang taga-squatter” because not all people living in the squatter’s area are bad or ill-mannered. But that is what my father told me, “Nakasakto ka sa isang taga-squatter” Well, I did not agree/disagree to that remark by my father. The way this individual talks, reasons and behave is not typical of a 35-year old to 40 year old individual. I would rather say, “taong walang good manners”.
What I observed was her agitation when I text or called her. I see this as a reaction to “guilt feelings”.
Wala na siyang plans to return my stocks but the shame she has brought herself was so huge. Para sa halagang 1000 +++ nagawa niyang sirain ang pangalan niya.
Her misbehavior will sure backfire on her. God bless her deviant soul.
I want to warn you to please be safe and take extra precautions with dealing with strangers. This particular person is indeed a SCAMMER. Once a scammer, always and forever will be a SCAMMER.
