• Does this digital video camera take still images up to 16 megapixels? The camera takes photos of 5 MP resolution and uses interpolation to achieve higher resolutions (8MP, 12MP and 16MP).
• What does FPS stand for, and what does it actually do? the FPS stands for frames per second, meaning how many frames the camera films in a second. In principle photography, one image is one frame and you end up with one still image. With video, the camera is constantly recording images. 30 frames in one second with this HD DVR.
