The Korg PXR4 is a serious portable digital recorder. The compact PXR4 delivers 4 recording tracks - each with 8 "virtual tracks", a built-in mic, a built-in rhythm section with 55 high-quality PCM patterns, loads of built-in REMS modeling effects (including mic modeling!), a built-in metronome and even a USB interface. The PXR4 also delivers advanced editing features like time compression and expansion, plus easy-to-use punch in/out, bounce, copy & delete functions. To get the best sound quality and efficiently manage storage, the PXR4 has 3 record modes and stores up to 99 songs on a SmartMedia card. The PXR4 includes one 16MB SmartMedia card, and supports cards up to 128MB. Recording time on a 16MB card is 270 total track minutes (almost 34 minutes per track!) in Economy mode, 135 min. in Standard mode, and 90 min. in Hi-Quality mode. Two AA batteries or a supplied AC adaptor power the PXR4.
