Accounting Supervisors/Officers

• Graduate of Accountancy, preferably CPA.
• At least with 2 years experience in related field.
• Female not more than 35 years old.
• Must be articulate, motivated and possess good scholastic records
• Not previously worked with any SM Affiliates with the same position level.
• Immediate family members must not be working as policemen, soldiers or engage w/ media.  Retired employees acceptable.
• Salary for Supervisors will range from 20-25 and 25-30 up to maximum of 35k for Officers.
• Willing to work on Saturdays and to work on extended hours.

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible in supervising the accounting operations in the assigned section (i.e. General Accounting, Payables and Sales Transaction Audit).

1. Responsible in assisting the Accounting Manager in the over-all-supervision of personnel assigned in his/her department/section

1.1    Orients new employees on his/her duties and responsibilities and departmental procedures

1.2    Assists in counseling and motivating employees in order to maintain high morale and discipline

1.3    Trains employees on the job and recommends appropriate training for existing/potential subordinates

1.4    Evaluates performance of subordinates

1.5    Makes suggestions on the manpower requirements of his/her section

1.6    Prepares re-shuffling or sliding of personnel in his/her section

1.7    Ensures compliance to Company policies and procedures

1. Check s all required reports submitted by subordinates relative to general accounting, payables and sales audit
2. Prepares account reconciliation of certain key accounts
3. Prepares account analysis as may be required by Hongkong or other regulatory agencies
4. Assist the Accounting Manager in the performance of administrative functions

3.1 Monitor supplies consumption of the department/section

3.2 Ensures proper housekeeping, maintenance and use of facilities/equipment in the department/section

3.3 Prepares necessary paper works related to employee incentive scheme and all other required records safekeeping

1. Supports Management decisions, requirements and expectations
2. Prepares other related functions that may be assigned by the Accounting Manager from time to time
