What do i do as a tutor?
Initially, I evaluate the performance of my students based on their exams and other classroom
activities. From there, my student/s and I decide whether to go back to the previous topic, continue
and practice the present ones, or advance to the next lesson. I believe that Math is composed
of succeeding topics so if the basics are wrong, most likely the next level will be wrong too.
Both for English and Math, it takes a lot of practice to acquire the skills. I usually ask for a copy of the course outline for the given quarter so I canprepare sample problems and drills in advance.
Tutoring is something that I really enjoy, I love imparting my knowledge to others.
My tutoring experience include:
-singapore math - 6th grader from an I.S.
-algebra, geometry and statistics - high school students from several exclusive schools
-worked in a math tutorial center for all grade levels
terms of payment
i don't require payment at the end of every session, it is the student/guardian's choice whether to pay immediately
or after several sessions.As long as tutorial sessions are scheduled, and the amount due doesn't exceed 4 sessions.
