STARTING 2012 AKCUPI IS ADOPTING A NEW SYSTEM FOR CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS.  It is called the C.C. (Challenge Certificate) system used by most of the leading kennel clubs around the world.  Instead of championship points earned the judge awards a C.C. only to deserving winners. We believe this system is far superior to the old point system used in the Philippines as it discourages show padding and mass production of inferior champions.  Full details will soon be posted at the AKCUPI website. We pride ourselves in promoting fair & honest competition.

Starting January 2012 you can transact business on SATURDAY (whole day)  & SUNDAY (up to 3pm) at Foremost Pharmacy (located beside AKCUPI at 316 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City).  This outlet is authorized to accept registration, give out forms and release documents.  Call the office Mon-Friday if you want to pick up your documents on Saturday or Sunday so we will prepare them for you.  Our goal is to serve you better, to make registering your dog easy and a pleasant experience.

AKCUPI and CHATAP make dog showing more AFFORDABLE ! - UPDATED NEWS

The AKCUPI recently forged an agreement with the Canine Handlers and Trainers Association of the Philippines (CHATAP) to fix the dog handling fees to very reasonable rates. ONLY P150 handling fee per ring and P200 per point  (COMPARE & SAVE as to the current going rate of P500+ per ring and P1,000+ per point charged by non-CHATAP  handlers.) Aside from that, AKCUPI charges the lowest entry fees in the country. At the same time, utilizing world renowned international judges from the USA, EUROPE & ASIA.  Dog showing is NO longer a sport only the rich can enjoy. This is our commitment to promote the pure bred dog sport in this country.  Our shows are open to EVERYONE, no matter which Club your dog is registered with.  Call the AKCUPI office to contact the CHATAP handlers.

CAN'T COME TO THE OFFICE?  Send your documents via LBC, it is the safest and fastest way to transact business by mail.  Please enclose Php 115.00 (Metro Manila) and Php 120.00 (other areas) for return postage together with the other fees.  Make all checks payable to the AKCUPI or you can send cash too via LBC.  Mail your documents to: AKCUPI 316 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City, Metro Manila.

TO ALL SHIH TZU BREEDERS: get a FREE SHIH TZU GROOMING DVD when you register a Shih Tzu litter or at least 3 dogs in a single receipt.  Limit of one (1) DVD per breeder only. Other Dog DVDs also available.

Important Notice: 
We get a lot of inquiries as to whether a litter can be registered with one parent being AKCUPI registered and the other one is PCCI registered.  The answer is YES.  Just call our office for more information.We only register dogs with certified pedigrees issued by a recognized club both foreign & local.
