- In the event of a non-life threatening emergency, the SPOT user can use this function to notify the SPOTteam or company officers that the SPOT holder need assistance. Up to 6 messages are sent within 1 hour to registered mobile phones and email addresses.

 Check OK

 - This feature allows the user to let the SPOTteam know that all is well, notify the team of the location, or save waypoint which maybe reviewed at a later date. Only one message is sent to registered mobile phones and email addresses.

- Use this function in the event of a life threatening or other critical emergency. This function activates emergency services, and notifies SPOTteam of the users’ location and that they need immediate assistance.
