We are in need of 25 Technical Support Representatives to start on October 12 ( Ortigas Site)

• A leading brand of handheld and portable GPS systems in US. It is recognized as an industry innovator, creator of portable car navigation systems
• Inbound technical support and customer service account for a hardware provider of Global Positioning System (GPS) – a satellite technology used by civilians for navigation purposes
• Divided into three major splits:
  1. Technical Support Voice (Car navigation – Maestro & Roadmate)
  2. Customer Service Voice
  3. Email Support

Agent Profile/Qualifications

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills: verbal, written, listening
• Professional customer service skills: solutions mindset, helping nature, passion for the customer and the customer experience
• Can communicate with customers at various technical levels

• Analytical problem solving skills
• Good probing skills
• Good time management skills
• Ability to handle difficult customers effectively; ability to set expectations and deliver information in a positive way
• Cultural/market sensitivity with respect to norms of the customer base

Technical Skills

• Typing speed of 25 wpm as verified by a formal test
• Internet Savvy
• ISP connections
• PC Architecture
• PC Experience - Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista
• Passion for Technology (curious, has ability and desire to learn, doesn’t rely on past knowledge, stays on top of latest technologies)

Experience

• Technical Support experience in retail, sales, service or other “helping” business is a plus
• PC hardware/software troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Education

• Completed 2years in college with preference for course of study in computer science or related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Major responsibility of the agent is to perform both customer service and technical support for car navigation Units
• Agents are responsible to do the following:

•  
  1. Provide resolutions to problems that end-users may encounter with their GPS units – whether handheld or car-installed
  2. Resolve issues through a real time troubleshooting
  3. Facilitate repair or replacement request of GPS units
  4. Provide customer any relevant information about GPS Units

• Agents in this account will be multi-skilled
• The agents will be trained first for car navigation and then for customer service
• The training will last for 6 to 7 weeks

Hours of Operation

• Shifts start anytime between 10pm to 9am, Monday to Sunday
• Shifts are 8 hours in length
