just add the cost of the engine and installation and the suspension

a stock Corolla GL consumes 7km/liter and long drive for 10km per liter and Ethanol mixed Gasolines are not applicable with carb engines, so less hassle to change engine by next year since almost all the fuels are going to have ethanol mixed in with the regular fuel which can really affect carb engines and breakdown, also a 4afe engine cost around 18k to 20k the cheapest and installation 10k the cheapest just compute. and for a car that is around 70 to 80k think twice of the body repair or overhauling the engine and the time and hassle.
