20 & 200 Peso Bills English Series Crisp & Uncirculated

Up for sale is a pair of English Series currency notes. These notes were issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines when it was first created in 1949 and was in circulation until martial law. The notes were printed by a London based company, Tomas de la Rue. In my opinion, English Series notes are the nicest notes we ever had. Similar to a US dollar layout but the colors and designs are much more attractive. A great item to have even if you're not a note collector.

The first item is an orange P20 note. At the obverse is Andres Bonifacio. The note has the signatures of President Marcos and Central Bank Governor Licaros. It has a serial number of EL555206. At the reverse is an image of the "Kartilya ng Katipunan" and the Balintawak Monument.

The second item is a green P200 note. At the obverse is Manuel Quezon. The note has the signatures of President Quirino and Central Bank Governor Cuaderno. It has a serial number of A033369. At the reverse is an image of the Legislative Building. This denomination is harder to get than the P20 note.

Both items are in Crisp and Uncirculated condition. The best condition that you can have with these old notes. They stopped printing these notes at the start of martial law so this is a good chance for you to grab this nice pair of notes before they completely disappear.
