HCFC-123/HALOTRON TYPE - SEIRE Brand, ISO Certified, using only Pure, Genuine, Imported and Unadulterated HCFC-123 extinguishing agent which is likewise suitable for Class A, B and C (multi-purpose type) fires, non-corrosive, non-electrical conducting, non-ozone depleting and non-residue producing (clean agent). This is the approved replacement for the now phased-out BCF Halon which had been proven to be harmful to the Earth’s Ozone Layer. This is specifically used to protect sensitive electrical equipments. Five (5) years warranty, provided that the firex units are unused and untampered with, warranty seal is intact/unbroken and units are well maintained.

SMOKE DETECTOR – Kiddie, Fire Alert, Family Safe or BRK brand, sourced from either the U.S. or Mexico. Stand-alone type, powered by a long lasting 9 volt alkaline battery, wall or ceiling-mounted, equipped with a sensor that is used in a fire alarm system, capable of detecting smoke within the protected area.

AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY LIGHT (AEL) – Omni, Akari or Shur-lite brand, enclosed in a metal casing, with a 2 x 10 watts bright halogen bulb, 6 volts sealed lead acid rechargeable battery with a lighting duration of 2-3 hours and equipped with a safety fuse.

    We take pleasure in introducing ourselves to you. Our company name is Capitol Pyro-Medic Service Center. We are a licensed fire fighting equipment company authorized by the DTI/BPS as a manufacturer and refiller of fire extinguishers and other related fire safety equipments. We specialize in providing the Fire Safety requirements of small to medium scale businesses as well as households/individuals for their personal use for the past 25 years. Our prices have been adjusted for this purpose.

    We are a Firefighting Equipment Establishment duly approved and accredited by the Bureau of Product Standards (BPS/DTI) as a Fire Extinguisher Manufacturer (per our ISO-9002 Alignment License Nos. Q-0284 and Q-0332) as well as by the Bureau of Trade and Consumer Protection (BTCP/DTI) as a Service Firm to engage in the Refilling/Servicing and Repair of Fire Extinguishers (per our License No. 067-05FEB®).

    Modesty aside, we are one of only a few in the Industry today who have endeavored to acquire an Automatic Refilling Machine from The Getz Corporation of the USA which enables us to fill-up cylinders/tanks much faster, more efficiently and accurately thereby minimizing, if not, totally avoiding a possible contamination when touched by hand that will adversely affect the firefighting capabilities/effectiveness of the fire extinguisher.

     Aside from conventional types of fire extinguishers, such as Dry Chemical, Carbon Dioxide, AFFF-Foam and Water types, we also carry the newest type of fire extinguisher, the HCFC-123 which is the approved alternative type to the now phased-out BCF-Halon 1211 type.

     As a Firm/Company duly licensed by the Bureau of Product Standards (BPS) under its latest ISO Alignment scheme, our products and services are now comparable with its imported counterparts since our manufacturing and servicing processes are patterned after International Standards.

     Though our Company doesn’t offer the lowest prices in the industry, we take pride in being one of the first in the our field to be awarded an ISO 9002 certification for product quality and our After Sales Services that are an integral part of our proposal. We would also like to inform you that our Company has spearheaded the formation of the Philippine Chamber of Fire Protection Industries (PCFPI). This is an umbrella organization composed of licensed fire extinguisher manufacturers, government agencies such as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Bureau of Product Standards (BPS), and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) whose primary purpose is to cleanse and rid our Industry of fly-by-night fire extinguisher companies who continually produce and flood the market with sub-standard/inferior fire protection equipments as well as unscrupulous personnel of the fire department who act as sales agents in behalf of such companies.

    We also wish to impart to you that our friends from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) have NO ACCREDITATION AUTHORITY. Only the Bureau of Product Standards of the Department of Trade and Industry (BPS-DTI) has this sole authority. Fire service personnel are specifically prohibited from recommending ANY particular brand or supplier of Fire Extinguishers/Fire Fighting Equipments. Their duty is limited to inspecting establishments to determine any violation/s or deficiency/cies they might have regarding the Fire Code and issue a time frame for the establishment to comply.

      There is a practice among other fire extinguisher companies that once you purchase from them, refilling will be done on a yearly basis. Even worst is the practice of offering different prices depending upon how long you want the warranty to be. Please be informed that a fire extinguisher supplier who offers a limited warranty period will do so because the chemical they used will only last just as long. This means that the purity of the chemical that they put in the cylinder affects its performance over time. An “adulterated chemical” (a term used to describe a chemical whose Monoammonium Phosphate, the chemical used for Dry Chemical fire extinguisher content is way below that of the recommended percentage) as regulated by the Bureau of Product Standards (BPS). Said chemical will “cake” ( a term used for the hardening of the dry powder chemical inside the cylinder) thereby making it almost impossible for the chemical to be expelled at the opportune time that it is needed.
