| do we need to deposit money before we can bid? |

| gregantonio | Hi, there is no need to deposit any money when you bid for jobs/projects. There is a new feature though which you can declare an initial payment from the project owner before you get started working on the project. Freelancer is for free, it will only charge you money for project fees when you win a project, and if you upgrade to a premium account.
thanks for your interest!
bid on as many projects as you want, the more projects you bid on, the more chances you will have of winning some of them. no need to worry since you can always refuse an offer if you want to.
