Group of Companies is a success story of hardwork, perseverance and vision. With only P55,000 for capital, Moldex Products Inc. was established in 1967 - a small operation that reprocessed plastic materials into pellets, and sold to downstream product manufacturers. The firm quickly graduated to producing PVC film, a material used for the blister packing of various pharmaceutical products, then later to polyethylene and polybutylene pipes and tubings. Then it diversified into electrical and telecom conduits, as well as branded drain, waste and vent pipes and fittings

Moldex became and still is today, the market leader in the PVC pipes industry and is now a budding exporter of uPVC rigid film. In the early 90s, the company ventured into real estate development, establishing Moldex Realty Inc. It is an enterprise devoted to horizontal project expansion. One of its flagship projects, under its real estate arm is the architectural masterpiece, 1322 Golden Empire Tower located along Roxas Boulevard in Manila.

Within short order, four more companies were established - Moldex Land Inc., Moldex Realty Marketing Inc., Moldex Construction Inc. and Moldex Insurance Agency Inc.

Moldex Products Inc.

 Moldex Products, Inc. (MRI), is a proprietorship business organized in the mid-sixties. Its initial operators involved reprocessing of plastic materials into pellets, which the company sold to downstream product manufactures. After a few years, the business engaged in the production of plastic seals and PVC bottle compounds. Such were used as raw materials to produce clear and transparent plastic bottles, which are good for haircare products, toiletries and other similar type of applications.

On mMarch 17,1972, the business was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Rigid PVC plastic film was then introduced as a new product line. Two extruder lines were acquired from Japan. MRI's first client was United Laboratories, Inc. The multinational pharmaceutical company made use pf the firm's PVC film's as material for blister packing of its various products. Consequently, a substantial number of other local pharmaceutiacal companies followed the trend, thus making MPI the principal suplier of rigid uPVC film in the industry.

In early 1979, the firm diversified into manufacturing of PVC, polyethylene (PE), and polybutylene (PB) pipes and tubings. Much later, corrugated electrical and telecom conduits, and branded drain, waste and vent (DWV) pipes and fittings were introduce and includedd in the product line. These products catered to industrial, and residential markets.

Because of its continued business in the manufacturing of quality products, MPI is widely recognized as a market leader and excellent producer in the PVC pipes industry and a BOI-registered budding exporter of uPVC rigid film.
