Gary Ignacio, co-forms new band  SID

Former Alamid Vocalist Gary Ignacio co- forms new band Sid with former original Alamid members Jay Sto.Tomas  and Efryl De Dios together  with original Immaculate drummer and another  former Alamid member Gail  Ignacio and FMD Bassist Carlo Hautea forming the nucleus of new band SID.

The formation of SID began even before Gary’s departure from Alamid when on a get together with Jay and Efryl they were jamming a couple of tunes they decided to try if they still had the magic to make originals .and as if they didn’t part company in the late 90’s one after the other the new materials emerged. Therefore, they decided at that point to make a project band with just the three of them.

After Gary left Alamid they decided it was time to fill the gaps of the band, first to come onboard was Gary’s brother Gail to fill the vacant drummer position. after which in a birthday party for one of the members of MMA (Malabon Musicians Alliance) Gary asked Carlo Hautea to join the band as Bassist ,and Sid was born.

Sid is now concentrating on recording their first album which is a blend of new wave and alternative Rock and are currently doing gigs at various joints and events
