What is a Solar Light • 

A solar light is a system for capturing and storing sunlight, then redistributing it according to a preset program.  A typical solar light is made up of 5 major components: The solar panel, the battery, the light fixture, the controller, and the pole. LED light fixtures are good for 50,000 hours or 10 years, while batteries( deep cycle, maintenance-free, sealed type) may need replacement only after 3 - 5 years.
