Qualifications/Requirements:

Male

35-55 years old

Bachelors / College Degree

Fifteen years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Responsibilities:

Flexible in traveling and working in different locations.

Work experience for civil construction in the field of Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas field for more than 15 years

Knowledge of civil construction and basic skills applied to relevant work such as foundation, structure, excavation etc.

Fully understanding of the civil works

Experience of checking work progress system and subcontractor’s invoice

Abilities to analyze drawings and relevant data for civil work

IT literate (excel & word skills are a minimum)

Overall responsibilities of civil construction activities

Review of project specifications & drawings

Review of tendering documents and selection of subcontractors

Carrying out preliminary site survey and study of project sites

Development of detailed civil construction schedule and preparation of final quantity

Execution of work based on detailed schedule

Monitoring and ensuring construction program and follow up

Monitoring site civil construction activities to ensure related activities of other disciplines’

Review of weekly civil construction progress

Organizing program meeting to review site monitoring construction progress

Maintaining daily activities reports on progress, material status, quantity issues and resources.

Forecasting resource requirements e.g. manpower and equipment

Management and control of manpower, material and construction equipment

Coordination with client on engineering and construction related matters

Coordination with subcontractors on related construction activities

Supervision of civil construction activities on site

Consultation with client on daily work activities

Ensuring and complying with quality & safety requirement

Responsible for preparation of civil construction procedures and method statement for every critical job that required safety analysis prior to start of work

Responsible for daily reporting of construction activities, three week look ahead schedule & overall civil completion schedule

Ensure that approved QA/QC procedures are followed throughout the entire period of civil construction

Preparation of project close-out report
