Notice to Licensed Constructors

"The Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP), an attached agency of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), reminds constructors / contractors to strictly comply with Republic Act (RA) 4566 (Contractor's License Law) and other pertinent laws governing the construction industry, including  the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Order No. 13 - Guidelines Governing Occupational Safety and Health in the Construction Industry.

License holders are warned that non-compliance with the said laws is a ground for suspension and / or revocation of PCAB license and is penalized by fine or imprisonment.

Upon receipt of your registration form, we will send a location map for the training venue. Registration fee can be paid on the first day of the training or paid in advance to company bank account (details upon request).

Under Rule 1033 of Philippine Occupational Safety and Health Standards (as amended) and DO 16 series of 2001, to wit “The minimum qualifications, duties and number of required safety and health officers shall be as follows: 1) All safety officers must complete the Bureau-prescribed training course prior to their appointment as in their respective places of employment; 2) All full-time safety officers must meet the requirement of duly-accredited Safety Practitioners or Safety Consultants by the Bureau; and 3) Not less than the required number of supervisors or technical personnel shall take the required trainings and shall be appointed as a safety officer on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the number of workers employed and the hazardous or non-hazardous nature of the workplace.”

BOSH for Construction Site Safety Officers or COSH Training. The COSH training modules we use are approved by the Bureau of Working Conditions (BWC) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), to meet one of the many requirements promulgated by the Labor Code of the Philippines (LCP).  COSH or BOSH for Construction Site Safety Officers is a course for focal individuals who wish to be accredited as Safety Practitioners or Safety Consultants and are specifically working, owning or managing a construction business or industry.  Because of its broad coverage, this course is ideal for Construction managers, Foreman, Safety Man, Safety Team Members, Engineers, Safety Supervisors, Safety Officers, Safety Practitioners, members of the Health & Safety Committee, HR and Admin personnel, Internal OSH Auditors, or just about anybody who wants to learn the basics of occupational safety and health in the Construction Industry.

This 40 hours DOLE COSH training is required by the DOLE-BWC if you intend to apply for accreditation as an Occupational Safety and Health Practitioner (OSHP).
