OVERVIEW:
I. What is Thai Massage?

Thai massage is a blend of massage, acupressure, energy work, and gentle yoga stretches. It is practiced on a firm mat on the floor with client fully clothed, except for the feet. With the use of compressions, pressure on specific points and stretches to release blockages, a free flow of energy is restored. Benefits from a session may include: releasing tight joints, stretching muscles, increasing range of motion, and reducing stress.

II. Benefits of Thai massage:

Thailand massage is practiced as a preventive and therapeutic. It is particularly effective for treating back pain, circulation problems, headaches, insomnia, anxiety, general fatigue, stress, etc. Practiced regularly, it makes daily life more harmonious. Traditionally it is taught in Buddhist temples, the school’s most famous being that of Wat Po, Bangkok. The care of the body is never far from that of the soul. Besides, if the Thai massage eases physical strain can also release the negative emotions.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

    Our Speaker is a Licensed Therapist from the Department of Health (DOH). She currently run her own Spa business and handles several       consultancy and training services for Spa Set-ups in the country.

    1.Therapist from different Spa/ Massage Clinic who wants to learn new knowledge and service to offer.
    2.Owners of different Spa/ Massage Clinic who wants to offer a new service- line.
    3.Anyone who wants to learn about Shiatsu and Thai Massage (used in SPA).
    
  NOTE: Attendee must have a basic knowledge about Swedish massage, before attending this training.

    1. Participant will learn about fundamentals and experience hands-on training.
    2. Participant will be able to establish her own “Massage Sequence”.
    3. Participant will receive a Certificate after the training.
