BASIC DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
The Digital Photography Institute of Manila Inc. (DPI) is a formal school for Photography and Digital Arts Media. Classes/workshops and seminars are conducted by experienced professional photographers and digital arts media experts.
The Basic Digital Photography Workshop is designed for amateurs, beginners and hobbyists. Having your own camera, preferably a Digital Single-Lense Reflex Camera or commonly known as DSLR Camera will definitely work for your advantage. Point-and-shoot cameras with manual settings can also be used.
The Basic Digital Photography Workshop’s ultimate goal is that before the end of the workshop, students must be able to use their DSLRs using FULL MANUAL SETTING.
The Comprehensive 4-Day Workshop runs in four (4) consecutive whole day sessions. The following fundamental photography concepts will be thoroughly discussed:
- Brief History of Photography
- Introduction and Photography Process
- Knowing your camera (Basic Parts, Operation and Handling)
- Different Types of Lenses
- Exposure (Aperture/Depth of Field, Shutter Speed, ISO)
- Composition
- Photographic Elements
- Filters, Hoods and Reflectors
- Photographic Flash
- Data File Handling (Downloading, Storage and Data Transfer)
- Common Technical Errors
Classes and Workshops are conducted on a regular monthly basis, all year round. We have two (2) types of workshops for BASIC DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY:
BASIC DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY - COMPREHENSIVE 4-DAY COURSE
- Runs on 4 Consecutive Saturdays, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Workshop fee is Php 3,800/head
BASIC DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY - 1-DAY CRASH COURSE
- Runs twice a month, Wednesdays and Sundays, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Workshop fee is Php 500.00/head
