Fundacion Pacita Batanes Nature Lodge offers the things that make a vacation meaningful – beautiful landscapes, charming accommodation, and the chance to give back to the community. Perched atop lush hills in Basco, Batanes, our lodge was once the home studio of internationally-acclaimed artist Pacita Abad. Her brother Butch Abad, the former DepEd Secretary, has refurbished it and opened its doors to visitors who wish to escape the city grind. Here, they’ll be able to enjoy lovely rooms with views of the Pacific Ocean. Fundacion Pacita Batanes is also committed to the community’s development. Our proceeds help fund the education of Ivatan artists and other heritage conservation projects.

Enjoy the intricate accents and superb attention to detail at Fundacion Pacita Batanes Nature Lodge. Here, the rooms boast artworks created by famous Filipino artists and up-and-coming Ivatan artists, as well as wooden furnishings made by craftsmen from Payatas and Batanes. The Fundacion displays artworks contributed by renowned artists, such as Araceli Dans, BenCab, Camille de la Rosa, and Joven Ignacio. Also featured are the works of young Ivatan artists Olan Gonzales, Abelador, JP Portez, and Tere Gordo.

Each room is furnished with a set of modern amenities, including air-conditioning, mini-bar, and private bathroom with hot and cold water. There’s also a sun deck that commands uninterrupted views of the breathtaking surroundings. Every stay in Fundacion Pacita Batanes Nature Lodge comes with roundtrip airport transfers, complimentary set breakfast.
