Five years related working experience specifically in construction projects
Job Description:
Performs field surveying activities to obtain data about the location, elevation, or dimension of land and complete as-built surveys
Selects known survey reference points by using survey instruments such as total station and levels
Performs office surveying functions such as mapping, survey reporting and calculations by using specific computer programs
Researches legal records and evidence of previous boundaries
Verifies topographical features and accuracy of contour lines
Interprets architectural and engineering plans
Requires additional information from the Design Department and recommends changes to plans to conform to field conditions, when necessary
Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments and procedures
