WORLD LETTERS ASSURANCE SOCIETY, INC. VOLUNTEERS ARE OFF TO BAKUN, BENGUET ON MARCH 22, 2013.  JOIN US AND LETS HELP THE POOREST AMONGST THE POOR CHILDREN OF BAKUN, BENGUET. 

Our Organization, WORLD LETTERS ASSURANCE SOCIETY, INC. with SEC Reg. No. CN201015241, 9-20-10, Co. TIN # 007-879-747 (http://worldletters.org) is a non-profit, non-stock organization and registered as NGO (No. 227-2012)is an ADVOCATE of Climate Change and aim to participate and cooperate in the greening activities of the Government & other NGOs in the drive and campaign to maintain a viable and sustainable CLIMATE CHANGE projects.

Our goal is to plant more trees to many parts of the country so we will be spared from floods, earthquakes, drought & many other calamities.  We are promoting the use of organic & fermented medicines & herbal food supplements.  We also patronize the use of organic farming by which organic fertilizers will be used by every farmer of the country, thus, helping each of them prevent poverty in the country, augmenting their livelihood.  We focus on going back to basics:  the use of paper & other paper materials that are reusable & recyclable;  the use of native materials from the trees from the farm.  We help & support every jobless Filipino and housewives in the barrios in their livelihood so as to augment their living conditions;   help in Water Conservation & Protection of Rivers;  support Community Cleanliness & Beautification projects of the government.

Therefore, our civic organization, WORLD LETTERS ASSURANCE SOCIETY INC., having been organized on September 20, 2010,  is LOOKING FOR Pioneering VOLUNTEER ENVIRONMENTALISTS, generous SPONSORS & BENEFACTORS who will join us in this Advocacy on CLIMATE CHANGE, PRESERVATION OF TREES & FORESTS, TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY, PROMOTING OF LIVELIHOOD PROJECTS like NATIVE BAYONGS MADE from BURI & PANDAN LEAVES, ORGANIC & HERBALS BREWS & TEAS AND OTHER ORGANIC DELICACIES.   HELP US SAVE OUR COUNTRY FROM FAMINES, FLOODS, AND OTHER DISASTERS.   BE A PART AND LETS JOINT EFFORTS!!!!!!!   FILL UP THE FEW REMAINING WORKING COMMITTEE CHAIRMANSHIP & LETS INVITE MORE VOLUNTEERS SO WE COULD TAKE-OFF AND WE CAN START HAND-IN-HAND TO PROMOTE OUR MISSION-VISION.   MANY HEADS ARE BETTER THAN FEW.   LETS HELP OUR COUNTRY TO BECOME GREEN AGAIN ,,,,,,,,,SAVING OUR PLANET EARTH  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

We also ACCEPT DONATIONS like tree & vegetable seedlings, old newspapers, books, used clothings for our indigent brethrens, slippers, old PLDT telephone directories for reclycling; CASH donations, foods and medicines.  

We also entertain SUPPLIERS of different native products from their own provinces so we could help promote their livelihood projects in their area.  Currrently, we are promoting and marketing different livelihood products like ORGANIC HERBAL BREWS, ORGANIC Bottled Veggie Preserves, native handmade crafts from different parts of the country, as part of our Fund-Raising project.  

However, VOLUNTEERS are not bound to SELL these livelihood products individually because our organization has a separate marketing program for local and foreign markets especially on volume sales.    If possible, we promote and market our products on a wholesale basis to companies, organization and corporations. 

PROJECTS DONE/TO BE DONE/PARTICIPATED:

1)  Maiden Project: "TSINELAS, PAGKAIN AT KARUNUNGAN TUNGKOL SA KALIKASAN PARA SA KABATAAN" on July 28, 2012 in Gumaca, Quezon and distributed 500pcs of slippers and fed 500 schoolchildren;

2)  "PASASALAMAT SA TAONG 2012", Joint Project with A VOICE IN THE STORM COUNSELING ADVOCACY, we distributed 100 bags of Media Noche packages to Indigent PWDs of Gumaca, Quezon on December 28, 2012;

3)  Distributed Pancit packs to the Center for Women in Crisis in Gumaca, Quezon on December 29, 2012;

4)  Distributed Pancit packs to BJMP (Bureau of Jail Management & Penology) in Gumaca, Quezon on December 29, 2012;

5)  Contract-Signing with AIESEC-INSPIRE UP DILIMAN so as to promote and help our Organization be known to many sponsors, volunteers and other NGOs;

6)  Will PARTICIPATE in the AIESEC INSPIRE SUMMIT on March 9, 2013 at UP Diliman Campus;

7)  2nd BIG EVENT:  "TSINELAS, PAGKAIN AT KARUNUNGAN TUNGKOL SA KALIKASAN PARA SA KABATAAN" on March 22, 2013, Friday in Bakun, BENGUET to distribute 300 pair of slippers, personal hygiene kit, grocery package (oatmeal, milk, bicuits, noodles), scool supplies and give lecture on Values Formation thru Information dissimination on the Ill-Effects anf Climate Change and the protection of Mother Earth;

8)  TREE-PLANTING schedule sometimes on April 2013.

2nd Big Event:

On March 22, 2013, Saturday, our group (WLASI) will go to the remote mountains of Bakun, BENGUET for our Project:   "TSINELAS, PAGKAIN AT KARUNUNGAN TUNGKOL SA KALIKASAN PARA SA KABATAAN" .   We will be distributing 300 SLIPPERS, GROCERY PACKS (milk, oatmeal, biscuits, noodles), PERSONAL HYGIENE KIT (toothpaste, toothbrush, body soap), SCHOOL SUPPLIES (notebooks, padpaper, ballpens & pencils), FEED these 300 children and give them Information and Education on the Awareness ofthe Ill-Effect of CLIMATE CHANGE.  We request GENEROUS DONORS, BENEFACTORS and SPONSORS for SUPPORT so that our Noble Project will be made possible.  Childen in these remote barrios and mountains very soldom receive reliefs and gifts from Donors.    WE NEED YOUR GENEROUS AND KIND-HEARTED HELP AND SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!   Pls contact the Seretariat Office of WLASI at 7013848 / 0928-2771847 / 0917-9948399.
