What if the driver / salesman turns off the ATLAS+ Trip Recorder ?

 The ATLAS+ Trip Recorder comes with a protective pouch.   This pouch can be locked to prevent the user from turning off the ATLAS+ Trip Recorder.   This pouch can also be clipped onto the driver's belt.   This way, there is no reason to misplace or lose the ATLAS+ Trip Recorder.

How long can the ATLAS+ Trip Recorder record ?

The ATLAS+ Trip Recorder is battery powered.   Its battery can last 32 hours.   So, it can record 32 hours maximum in one charge.

However, the built-in memory of the ATLAS+ Trip Recorder can store approximately 30 days' worth of recorded trips.  

This would be especially useful for recording out-of-town trips of salesmen travelling to provincial areas.

What if I need to record trips longer than 32 hours ?

There are cases where a need to record trips lasting several days or weeks might arise.   Such examples are :

• Salesmen going out-of-town (usually to far provinces) to scout for prospect dealers / distributors
  
• Truck drivers delivering goods to provincial areas

When these situations occur, you can do the following :

• For salesmen without a vehicle, you can assign them the AC charger (included with package) & ask them to charge it while staying in the hotel.    They should turn it on when it's time to work  (usually 8.30am) and can only turn it off at end of day (usually 5:30pm).   Not only do you know where they have been but this will also serve as their time-in & time-out while assigned to provincial areas.   (This is because the ATLAS+ Trip Recorder gets location & time info  from GPS satellites)
  
• For truck drivers delivering goods, you can purchase an optional car charger.   This car charger plugs into the cigarette lighter socket of any vehicle.   These would ensure continuous recording even if the trip lasts for weeks.
  
• We also offer an extended battery that can record 5 days continuously on a single charge.   These can be used by salesmen or delivery van drivers on out-of-town trips.
