Deep groove ball bearings are most commonly used rolling bearings. Because of their versatility, single-row deep-groove ball bearings are the most popular of the antifriction bearing types. They are available in a broad range of sizes, from miniature ball bearings with outside diameter of less than 9mm to extra-large bearings that exceed 1,500mm in diameter. Small and mid. size bearings are also available in a variety of shield, seal and snap ring arrangements. Big ones normally are fitted with solid brass or steel cages	Cylindrical roller bearings mostly consist of the cage, the rollers and guided by two capped edges on a ring. As matched pairs of bearing, preload for them is more convenient. Retainers are made of brass, synthetic resins or other subject to individual bearing features and application conditions.

Tapered roller bearings are generally of separable design and have tapered cone and cup raceway between which tapered roller are arranged, their design makes tapered roller bearings particularly suitable for carrying combined (radial and axial ) load. Tapered roller bearings have single, double and four-rows.	Insert bearings are basically deep groove ball bearings of series 62 and 63 which are sealed at both sides, have a convex sphered outside diameter on the outer ring, and have an inner ring - with the exception of two series - which is extended at one or both sides. Insert Bearings are designed in almost the same way as deep groove ball bearings, except that the outer ring is spherical. Their design allows the bearings to be easily mounted in a housing block and be self-aligning.
