AquaVermiPonics is a combination of Aquaculture and Agriculture (called Aquaponics) plus Vermiculture to create a natural cycle of growing plants (vegetables, culinary herbs such as: basil, mint, rosemary, thyme, parsley, etc.) and at the same time, raising food fish such as: tilapia, pangasius, shrimps, crayfish and even indigenous species such as: biya (freshwater goby), ayungin (silver perch), ulang (freshwater prawns), yap-yap (small lake/river shrimps), pauto (local small mud fish), hito (local catfish) and talangka (crabs). Aquarium fish grow well too such as: koi, goldfish, barbs. We added Vermiculture to provide more nutrients to the plants. This system is almost 100% made of recycled materials (used IBC tank or drums, water bottles, gravel or pebbles from rivers or lakes). No chemical fertilizers will be used. Our AUTO-SIPHON SYSTEM (patent pending being assisted by DA-BAR) is the best in the world designed and invented by a Filipino, Deo Magbal Jr. An efficient FLOOD and DRAIN of the growbed ensures utmost oxidination of the plant roots & tank water and continuous healthy thriving of Beneficial Bacteria (BB) or Efficient MicroOrganisms (EM) to help biodegrade the nutrients in the water and bed medium .....a MUST for Aquaponics to work!  

TECHNICAL ADVANTAGE:  Our dual water pumps are strong 1500 liter per hour capacity but only 25 watts each.  The stronger pump the more times the water will circulate in a day.  Water is odorless.  Other aquaponics system worry about their siphon.  A strong water pump will start the siphon easily but will have a hard time stopping it.  In effect the water will just stay down in the growbed but will keep flowing down.  Water will not reach most of the roots of the plant and will die eventually.  A weak water pump will not start the siphon at all.  In effect, water will be kept at the highest level of the growbed.  You will just hear the water dribbling every now and then but will not start the siphon. This will keep the plants always submerged in water and will drown.  Since the water cycle frequency will be minimal, the water will not get enough oxygen and the fish will die eventually.  Our  AUTO-SIPHON SYSTEM can handle strong water pump (starts siphon without fail) and when the water is fully drained, stops the water pump (turns off siphon without fail) all the time!!!  The system turns on the siphon instantly and stops the siphon instantly! In addition, the system turns off the water pump 67% in one cycle (while the water is flowing down to the fish tank from the grow bed)....means 67% power savings compared to a continous running pump.  Our system power consumption is an incredible P140 per month!!!
